Solutions for the future of Destiny's Xbox fans
I'm writing this firstly because I believe like many of fans that this beta and others things are unfair. So PS users got an Alpha and that should have been enough, but to prevent Xbox users getting their fair share is just alienating us. I think the best thing to do instead of complain is to speak out and ask for this to be amended. So I've started a poll to ask what you guys would like to fix this. I personally think extending the Beta to be the same length as the PS users but extending post 26th, so they get their exclusive early access. There are other issues including DLC that contains more things for the PS than the Xbox, which will be charged at the same price on all platforms. Again this is equally unfair and one sided. To those PS user who will no doubt mock this post, please read carefully that I haven't mocked you and all I want is some form of active fair user policy for all of us.
Please vote honestly and post your concerns, but please be constructive and help your fellow gamers.
Also thanks to Darth Turelim for point out, that it would be really helpful if everyone who votes posts a comment to that effect. Please also share this out and maybe we can get something changed.

3 답변So, this company Bungie. They know Xbox network code pretty well. Worked on a title or two that made it out on Microsoft's console. How many games have they released on a Sony system? How many games have they put out on Sony's network? Did it ever occur to you that maybe all this extra time they're giving to Sony users has more to do with making sure they have a solid release on a platform they have never worked with before? The argument could be further made that some of the extra love could be to start building relationships with the Sony only crowd. If they cut out Xbox completely, then you could complain away and have more of a reason to do so. Frankly they could easily pull player data from just the Sony platform for balancing purposes.

What you fail to understand is that you're blaming the wrong company. Sony put up money for exclusive early access bonuses. Microsoft did not. So, the true culprit of you feeling slighted is actually the company that makes your system, not the company producing the game. Secondly, I bet you don't complain when you get EVERY single dlc for the cod franchise a month earlier than ps3, do you? I for one applaud Sony in their plan to get behind, and invest in, bungie. Sony knew that bungie had something big on their hands. Microsoft dropped the ball, just like they did with the xbone release. You don't deserve anything. You're lucky they let you play the beta at all, they didn't have to. You don't have a right to play, it's a privilege. Quit complaining and enjoy the time you got. It literally took me three hours to complete the game, beat the strike, find the five gold chests, and explore the world. There isn't anything you can't accomplish in the time they gave you that us ps3 users could.

People like you who bitch about how Bungie didn't treat Xbox like royalty, you're stupid. Why should they? Just because they made Halo doesn't mean that they are solely for Xbox only. It's not a part of Microsoft company is it? NO! So shut the -blam!- up. Bungie can like any other game publisher choose who they give early access to and who they won't. It seems like PS put out the money for it and Xbox didn't. You can't blame them for taking in the money. Blame Microsoft and not Bungie. Bungie is NOT xbox's bitch. They can do what they want.

3 답변Regardless of whether you think it's unfair or not it isn't bungie a fault in the slightest. If you want to blame anyone, blame activision for making the deal with Sony or, better yet, Microsoft for not shelling out the extra money for their loyal fan base. If anyone has wronged you through this it was Microsoft.

I'm glad this isn't a flame discussion and used your words not your caps lock lol, I seconded this even as a PS user, because it is insulting to the other side of gaming to like you said alienate gamers based on their preference of console. I'm really happy this thread was put up. :)

Beta is just a stress test there are more ps4 users than xbone so I can understand that they get a longer beta. And It's just a beta. And if the DLc being a times exclusive is a really really big issue to you just buy a ps4.

I mean, for Christ sake! Be thankful you're even GETTING the game! If it really bothers you that much, then go out, and buy a Playstation.

1: its a BETA the only reason its available to play is because its to test the game and help test server loads your enjoyment of the game is not their concern. 2. They already have information on xbox systems and it OS via past games (halo) 3. Microsoft kinda made some crap moves with bungie in the past so I'm sure that motivated them in this choice. 4. Why make it seem like bungie owes anything at all to xbox or its fan boys? 5. Get over it or buy a ps4 and get the beta!

1 답변You do realize that your second option says "Reduced DLC for Xbox" right? This would mean you guys would get even less than what you're getting now. Or is that your intention? Just another to whine and complain about something. There's nothing that can be done about the PS exclusivity, so just accept it and move on. I promise you will have a much better time in game and in life in general.

4 답변I like the equal and differing exclusives for both consoles! Who knows? Maybe Bungie will make an Xbox exclusive Halo Easter Egg and perhaps a map remake!
