Solutions for the future of Destiny's Xbox fans
I'm writing this firstly because I believe like many of fans that this beta and others things are unfair. So PS users got an Alpha and that should have been enough, but to prevent Xbox users getting their fair share is just alienating us. I think the best thing to do instead of complain is to speak out and ask for this to be amended. So I've started a poll to ask what you guys would like to fix this. I personally think extending the Beta to be the same length as the PS users but extending post 26th, so they get their exclusive early access. There are other issues including DLC that contains more things for the PS than the Xbox, which will be charged at the same price on all platforms. Again this is equally unfair and one sided. To those PS user who will no doubt mock this post, please read carefully that I haven't mocked you and all I want is some form of active fair user policy for all of us.
Please vote honestly and post your concerns, but please be constructive and help your fellow gamers.
Also thanks to Darth Turelim for point out, that it would be really helpful if everyone who votes posts a comment to that effect. Please also share this out and maybe we can get something changed.

7 답변So what? I'm tired of hearing that some of you Xbox users are complaining about this PS exclusive stuff. I've played CoD on PSN for years and had to deal with you guys getting every DLC a month ahead of PSN, but I never complained. Now finally Sony got their shit together and is beating Xbox, and now you guys are crying about Destiny? Get out of here, stop posting these useless threads.

I'm a lifetime Halo fan and Xbox user. I do not feel betrayed at all. Bungie and Microsoft aren't tight anymore due to disagreements during the Halo years and they want to give PS fans something to win them over. Xbox fans already know how good Bungie games are but most PS players have no idea what they're missing. And what do you want exactly? To be able to play the same 2 multiplayer maps and 1 campaign map so much that you'll be bored of them by the time the full game comes out. Stop feeling so entitled.

What about those of us who are angry at cross platform games having exclusive dlcs/content regardless of our platform of choice? I fall under this category and yet nearly every post I see from PS users basically just says "haha now it's your turn!" I just think it's best for consumers to get equal access to content in cross platform games. It saddens me to see so many PS users don't share this principle.

Not really mocking it's similar too how call of duty got dlc for Xbox a month before ps, it's because the companies stuck a deal, bungie can't alter it now as they have a deal with sony which gives us ps users benefits.

6 답변So all the money and contracts signed by Sony, Bungie and Activision are supposed to just dissappear and be irrelevant? I think not. I mean I hate to be a grinch here but, nothing is going to affect the exclusivity with Playstation. It's business. Just because their consumers are bent out of shape (for no real reason, other than, they feel entitled to something) isn't going to change what they have legally set in stone. They can tell by trends that people will get pissed and "betrayed" but still she'll out $60+ for their product. Why don't those of you who fall into this category speak with you wallets and not buy the game so that you will get some real attention? Honestly, the quicker you guys get over this and just accept it, the quicker we can all get on with our lives and look forward to enjoying this game. 4 days of a Beta is not going to kill you. You're still going to buy this game and have a ton of fun with it so who really cares? Xbox will get extra content that Playstation won't, I can all but guarantee it. Again, I'm sorry for being harsh and im not pointing a finger at you or anyone in specific, but, I think I can probably speak for a lot of gamers here who just want to move on from this constant fishing for sympathy. It's old, it's annoying and it's really destroying this forum. Bungie knows your upset and they have commented on it on more than 1 occasion. You're getting the same game Sony fans are getting, be grateful for that at least. So you don't have a few guns or pieces of armor amongst the estimated hundreds. That's really going to ruin a game like this for you? Grow up guys. Seriously. If you were that into this game from the start and you knew it was going to be premiered on Playstation, then it's your own fault for sticking with xbox. It's like standing in front of a train, then being mad at it for running you over.

3 답변Everything he said was completely fair making a good point, it's not the end of the world if xbox users have to wait behind Sony but it would be cool if we had the same amount of time to play the beta as you bunch at least. But shooting someone down who brings facts with your opinions is kinda ridiculous, so much hate.

There is nothing to change, it was a business decision likely made by the publisher which ultimately raised the money needed to ensure Bungie could realize their 10 year vision. Titanfall was a new franchise and MS snagged it up entirely for Xbox where was the "fairness" in that? I never understood the whole if i'm loyal to a corporation/company they will be loyal to me as if you matter when you are that big and there's always another consumer around the corner.

Just love our the xbox fans think the gamimg world is all about them now that ps finnaly get a great game to be time exclusive the xbox fans hit us with hate. Love our the xbox finnaly feel the pain we have been trough but yet we accept the time exclussives they give to xbox cant you guys return the favour a bit?? Raziel; Good try... Being an Xbox owner and an observer of the 'religious wars' that are the consoles, did you REALLY think that the reaction was going to be any different? If the world was truly unicorn dust and lollipops, this might have worked. Frankly, I can't blame the PS4 owners for taking a serious offense to your suggestion. Xbox owners have had Bungie to themselves for a decade and a few years. And, now you're asking for a piece of THEIR party. Personally, I do find your request a bit selfish - but I completely get why you would want more. I also get why the PS4 owners are so "Dude, you really must be kidding....".

I think people fail to realize that we arent annoyed about timed exclusives too much, it is just how long we have to wait to get the DLC. I wouldnt mind if if a was a month or two playstaion got it for first but a year is too long

9 답변Lol when people bring up call of duty's timed exclusive with xbox, im left there thinking "This is blamming Destiny, you really can't see why this would seem more important to people than the game that only relies on the same pvp formula?" I dont care about the timed exclusives, but that CoD point that's brought up often is weak
