What's a good AK variant chambered in 5.56/.223REM?
T4R. I remember hearing about one, but I don't remember the name.

4 답변Just get one in 7.62. It's still cheaper than .223 and the sucky thing about .223 is that not all .223 rifles will not standardly perform if 5.56 is loaded. You have to get a rifle that both 5.56 and .223. Yes, the calibers are the same but at the same time they are not. It's difficult for me to explain without linking a video. Basically because 5.56 is military and .223 is civilian

1 답변The SLR106 was alright. I recall it being discontinued though. You might be able to find one somewhere.

5 답변Most .223/5.56 AKs are pretty shoddy. I would rather get one in one of the Russian calibers but if you really want one you could look into the Russian AK-101 or other similar rifles. I'm pretty sure WASR makes .223 AKs but WASR AKs have terrible quality control.
