This totally turned into more Clan promo advertising. A small clan with tolerable personalities to me, means not dealing with PUGs. Just because it's an MMO doesn't mean I actually want to interact with all of those people. Especially considering that I will be playing on my xb1, as easy as turning it on and off. Spending hours weeding through typical community conversation, pick up groups and people clutter is not something I'm going to want to put up with, especially since my experience will be so streamlined on a console anyways. That and I'm a bitter 24 year old who works in child care and development and just doesn't really want to talk to another teenager outside of work, ever again.

The [i]only[/i] reason to join a clan, say FaZe or OpTiC for example, is that you gain recognition. Sure, you may get haters but knowing that you are among the top quickscoping/trickshotting clans in the world feels [i]damn[/i] good. Now, everybody knows I can quickscope, and that I have more swag than them. That, DeeJ, is why people join clans. Sure, you can play with friends, but I would rather practice and improve my quickscoping/trickshotting skills. Though, my swag is already perfected.

Our clan is based on like-minded individuals getting together and learning to play as a team. Shadow Company will be celebrating 6 years in existence later this year and our core values are maturity, respect, friendship and fun. Our primary goal is to have fun together but we aim to do so through structured and team-based play. We run structured practice sessions in all of our supported titles on various days of the week and across different timezones. Our practices are aimed at improving our tactics, teamwork and forming strategies for particular maps and game modes. Our volunteer leaders will take the overhead view of maps and add "call outs" to important locations. We then try to learn these call outs during practices by running through the map and going over location names. We then try to play a few matches on the map while using the location names to help make our communications more clear and concise. We offer the our members the opportunity to improve their gameplay and to help others improve by sharing tips, tricks and strategies. We offer the opportunity to engage with like-minded people about the things we all enjoy . . . gaming. Most importantly we offer our members a place to make friends and forge new relationships with people who care about the same things they do. We do not discriminate, it does not matter to us what race, gender, creed or nationality you are, it does not matter what gaming system you play on. All we ask is that you respect other members and non-members alike, that you abide by our very reasonable rules and that you have a mic so we can talk to you. Our members range in age from 15 to 68, they come from 4 different continents, countless countries and states across those continents and they play across 4 different consoles. From July 1st we will be introducing a new, more casual, membership level that does not require people to attend practice sessions. We are hopeful that this new membership level will allow us to make new friends and keep in touch with people who would like to play with us. Shadow Company will be very active in Destiny and we are looking forward to making new friends, meeting new people and fighting new opponents. im 30, and i have kids - 3 of them, then there is the overly demanding wife of mine its a good job i love her very much but sadly she isnt a gamer!! So clans for me are a chance for me to meet new people increase my skills, chill out after a long stressful day and converse quietly with others that share my passion. That is to say i dont like mic's - is there a chat room because i havent seen one!!
