Switched phones just now redownload the Bungies app, by your logic I shouldn't be able to use a sniper at anything but long range, but if I'm good I can no scope you in the head at close range. Same applies with the dmr/br they are mid to long range weapons so if I land all my shot on your dome I should win the engagement. the AR ruins this balence bc it full auto spray and pray it takes no practice to get with. If I miss should you win with an AR in CQ yes, but you won't even get enough shots off to kill someone b4 you die to an AR i CQ
The saw hate that thing but it is a pick up/drop weapon so no I don't see it as OP if you could start with it yea, oh wait you can the AR is just a mini SAW

Considering I never said anything about the sniper(that actual sniper not the Binary Rifle) although I do prioritize weapons by their range, If you can use it at close range and be effective thats just you but I was making a generalized statement about weapon range and effectiveness Can you honestly say the AR was good for anything before they buffed it? It couldn't compete with any gun other than the storm rifle and plasma rifle the other 2 most useless guns in the game that no one would hardly use.

I was useing it as another example of harder use weapon being effective outside of their main goal in the rite hands. My point being that the AR is to effective based on its how difficult it is to use, it should be bad, it's an easy weapon, along with the other two full auto starting weapons. That and it's the first weapon you get that alone should make it terrible. But I'm old school halo so maybe that's why I don't like it. It just doesn't feel like halo

I can agree somewhat but I've never felt any really difficulty in the use of Halo weapons other than being good with timing and aiming and personally I'm only defending the AR because it has been one of my favorite weapons since CE but after the BR and DMR were introduced it felt more like a chore to use rather than a decent weapon because it now was so horribly out classed in damage and range. I mean as a Halo veteran you should know this game started with what 7 or 8 weapons from CE? Only 2 of which were actually distanced weapons excluding the rocket launcher, this game slowly became dominated by precision weapons and the full auto weapons fell off the face of the earth.

It should be outclassed by weapons that are more difficult to use tho. Landing 4/5 headshots is much harder then just holding the redical on center mass for a second or so Idk much about CE didn't start till halo 2( can't wait for the MCC and untouched halo 2 multiplayer ＼(^o^)／ ) but I guess I just feel Arena style multi is the best

Ah then I suppose I cant expect you to see why the AR is held so close to my heart, I suppose thats why the AR was removed in Halo 2 due to the fact that the BR made it useless and it was only brought back in previous games afterward because CE players really missed it that and it was the most iconic weapon of the series next to the Magnum.

작성자: wh1plash2 6/19/2014 9:07:32 AMYea but we had the smg, but it wasn't great until you found a second one on the map to dual wield or used a magnum with it. And I agreed with that flow you couldn't wreck with a full auto weapon unless you could pick it up.
