Well, I like the idea of writing everything down. Don't give these letters to her immediately, but if you ever feel a wave of longing coming over, write about it. Write until you feel you either should tell her the truth or burn the letters. Do what feels right, don't try to force it.

You never should have dumped her in the first place. So she kissed some other guy? So fcking what! She was obviously into you based on her reaction to being dumped. Our society places far to much emphasis on remaining utterly faithful to one person, something I've always found laughably archaic. Anyways, I say go for it, if you honestly think she's the one then you need to try, or you'll never forgive yourself.
