Really? What is this shit? (Ban extended)
So my main has been banned because of the Destiny raid. It was just a two week ban, and that was fine.
What I wasn't aware of is that bans could apparently overlap. Allow me to give some background. The Destiny raid took place on March 30. I was banned on March 30 for Hacking/Cheating (the random bans for those in the raid).
Now, my ban said it was over at 1:56 on April 16th. Last night I checked my ban, and the time of release was still the same. About half an hour ago, I checked my account and it said "You are banned from the forums until May 14th at 1:23:56 PM. Your last ban verdict as Disrespect/Threats in this forum post." The forum post referred to was my reply to Chakas' offensive pics thread. I replied [i]two days[/i] before the Destiny raid, meaning that if I was going to be banned for it, I should have been banned right then and there.
What does this mean? A mod banned me for a post I made more than two weeks ago, right as my ban was about to be lifted. Not just as I was unbanned, my ban was still active. It has been extended.
I'm not one to get salty about bans, but since it extended right at the end of my ban for a post made [i]two weeks ago[/i], I have to ask, who's the mod that has a hard on for me? What's your problem?

I don't know what went on here, but why are you surprised that you were banned for violating the rules? Because it ended up being retroactive? Assuming some grand conspiracy? Not likely, as most mods are too busy to hold those sorts of grudges. It does happen, incidentally stemmed from just this type of whining, but it is rare, though probably justified. Don't like it? Stop violating the rules and giving mods a reason to ban you. I kind of doubt that happened here though. Another mod probably either found the thread, or found it in the report queue and banned for an obvious violation. Since the system does not get rid of all the posts a banned user makes like it used to, this is the risk you run. It's EASILY avoided though if you just stop violating the rules. We don't really care if the violation was made today or two weeks ago. If its a violation, and we find it, expect a reaction. As I said I doubt it was a mod with a grudge, you just happened to be caught two times in a short span violating the rules, and this is the result. Though for posterity's sake, I will once again repeat this because quite a few of you just don't seem to get it: Don't like being banned? Stop violating the rules.

So take away message if a forum mod disagrees with you just walk away or prepare yourself to be banned. Also notice that the post was banned BEFORE the threat. "[i]we don't seek out users[/i]" ... lol, yeah

This account got banned for a month and a couple days latter I got another month added on to it for a boob gif I posed in a boob thread. The gif I posted was 2 months before the ban for it and it was in a thread that was frequently posted in.
