that they are fat through some medical means? IE, Hypothyroid, Genetics, etc...
The reason I ask is that the number of morbidly obese is rising at a scary rate. You can see it is increasing year over year
So, has there been an environmental change? Maybe a new chemical that is causing so many to get and stay morbidly obese?
Because, either there has been, or we had two or three generations of chubby chasers making babies that tend to be fat, or the excuse is bunk, and the majority of morbidly obese people choose to be that way. Rather, they don't choose to be healthy.
So, has there been an environmental change, a few generations before us were the morbidly obese more likely to have babies, or is it an excuse by weak people who can't put the burger down?

Eh. I'm just slightly overweight- doesn't affect me in every day life. 'Part from asthma. But I'm just lazy. The only physical thing I enjoy is walking and I don't eat much sweets/ fizzy drinks so really, that's all I am. But I admit it, so I feel better about myself.

2 답변There are a lot of factors that have to do with it. Its easier to say it's our effed up society.

A lot are just lazy. I know overweight people who recognized they were unhealthy, changed their diets, and worked out. With patience, discipline, and hard work they became much healthier. Too many people use medical conditions as crutches when in actuality, they just eat shit and sit around all day.

1 답변작성자: Morgan Freeman 3/13/2014 5:16:35 PMThey may have a genetic predisposition for obesity, but that's still no excuse. 98% of fat people have no one to blame for their obesity but themselves and their bad lifestyle choices. And I'm not saying this is an excuse, but it's a contributing factor: the easy availability and low cost of fatty foods. It's cheaper to go to, say, McDonald's than it is to go to a supermarket and buy some fruit and vegetables. Unhealthy food is just plain cheaper and tastier, in most cases, than healthy food, so it's easy for people to go with the bad option.

Just lazy, or anxiety eating. Thing is, there's a lot of unhealthy food out there readily available for extremely cheap prices. That's why you can go to the hood and see a big fat guy who looks like he eats enough for two. Still, there's no excuse. Do some exercise, eat relatively healthy and you won't be a walking oversized beachball of fat.
