One Oklahoma state lawmaker has proposed legislation that would throw out all marriage in the Sooner State.
Rep. Mike Turner (R-Edmond) told News 9 constituents in Oklahoma are "willing to have that discussion about whether marriage needs to be regulated by the state at all." Turner said it would "be a realistic opportunity" to outlaw marriage.
"It's something that would be part of the discussion," Turner said.
On January 14, a judge ruled Oklahoma's ban on gay marriage unconstitutional. Days later, Turner filed legislation calling for a vote to ban gay marriage.
He told KFOR-TV after the ruling he thought Oklahoma's opinion hadn't changed much, and called the ruling a "federal intrusion."
작성자: Gatsby 1/25/2014 7:13:32 PMWhy are you Americans like this? It just doesn't make sense, just allow anyone to marry anyone and leave it at that. No further discussion needed. God you people love to drag shit on for ages. Marriage isn't between man and women but love and love.

You can tell me all you want that people get all those benefits, but that's just the state getting its dirty hand in a system it didn't belong in. I don't care about people saying "Muh Gay Marriage ruins traditional marriage!" because REAL marriage was destroyed long ago when the government decided to get involved. Any benefit people married get should be filed independently and for people who live together but not married (yet).
