METAL / HARD ROCK / ANY INTERESTING ROCK
I'm in a metal mood. Heavy distortion, but it's gotta have some sort of soul, no generic garbage. I CANNOT FIND GOOD METAL. I AM BEGINNING TO BE CONVINCED GOOD METAL DOESN'T EXIST. PROVE ME WRONG???
EDIT: Even "hard rock" if metal is too constraining. Give me your best stuff, COME ON
EDIT 2: The most interesting thing I've heard someone suggest so far is the video I just embedded above from B.net user Suicidal Failure.

10 답변Have some Brocas Helm. Shame they stopped recording, but I think it would have been really hard for them to top Defender of the Crown so maybe it's for the best. Also, having been away from the scene for a while (went back to listening to, playing, and writing actual country), my bother got me into [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhowyNLT8kU]Sabaton[/url] a little while ago. They're kinda neat.

28 답변-blam!- this thread and -blam!- the notion that you can just get into metal. It's an acquired taste and the general population of people listen to mainstream accessible metal which will turn off anyone who doesn't have shitty taste, which most people do which is why people listen to melodic death metal or some over produced shit which is what I'm sure people will be posting in the comments. Dude, metal is a serious form of music and you probably will not like it. I personally don't like seeing this cycle of people regurgitating shitty metal bands to people who half heartedly say they want to see some good metal. You're over eager for one, I can tell in the OP. You're not going to find good metal unless you go find it for yourself.
