Xbox One has better software; PS4 has better hardware
Somebody pointed this out in a thread. I think it's really interesting actually. Sure the PS4 has the better hardware but the Xbox One has the better software (other than its shoddy UI) and the Xbox One supports Snap.
I think that this is a very important point because there's more to the Xbox One than what meets the eye... Sure it's hardware's not as great as the PS4's but its software's much better.
Why? Because the PS4 is made by Sony whose main forte is producing hardware, whereas the Xbox One is produced by Microsoft whose main forte is producing software, which, therein, lies the difference.
Therefore I remain confident that the Xbox One will be just as good as the PS4.
Does anybody agree? And what do you think?
I'm imagining that the fanboys for Sony will say "Nope! PS4 is perfect and infallible and the Xbox One is the worst console ever made! PS4 has perfect software, Xbox One's software sucks! And fu.ck you by the way!"
And the fanboys for Microsoft will say, "Nope! Xbox One is perfect and infallible and the PS4 is the worst console ever made! Xbox One has perfect hardware, and the PS4's hardware sucks! And fu.ck you by the way!"

1 답변Is it? After years of experience I'd be inclining to agree that this is the case with the 360 and PS3. We don't know how smooth these consoles will operate. Maybe the PS4 will have a much larger failure rate?

2 답변It really depends on what you emphasize. The PS4 has remote play to Vita, Gaikai, and remote use of another console-- all software services. The XB1 has a hi-tech everything sensor and live TV control-- both hardware features.

And what do you think?[/quote] Except that the XB1 and PS4 are nearly identical in physical hardware save for the RAM setup, which as it was explained to me are largely the same and only few differences between the two in how that memory is used. Specifially PS4's setup doesn't allow for quick changes. And claims of software are going to be subjective since games are subjective.
