When you joined Destiny, within your private library you would have books of lore that would contain the known history of Guardian-kind. As you progressed through the open worlds and your campaign to becoming legend, you would find and add to your collection many lore books, histories, books on the art of warfare and books of the ancient cults of Fallen, Vex and Cabal. As you defeated bosses, gain exotic weapons and traversed vast worlds, you would always be collection such literature that you would be well-versed in all arts of warfare, knowledge of the enemy you fight, long lost cultures, the origins of ancient long-lost colonies on the other worlds of our solar system, guides on the technology you find implemented into your modern weapons so you could become the ultimate weapons crafter. As you found your books, you would add them to your library that you could access here on Bnet, in-game at the City or in your ship and on your mobile phone in their app. From online you could print it and read about the world of Destiny in your spare time. An area of the website would unlock for each book so you could browse them and read them at your pleasure.
