Different helmets... Different HUDs?
I think it would be very cool if different helmets would change your HUD or maybe just the exotic helmets (if they exist) would change the colour and layout of your HUD, do you think it would be a good idea or even possible?
And if they was customisable would you rather:
1) each helmet had its own HUD you can't change
2) you unlock HUDs through challenges and can equip anyone whenever
3)you can create your own HUDs changing the colour, the transparency, the hip fire marker and maybe the layout
4) maybe some helmets have a night vision or thermal cam
Love to here your ideas

1 답변Why not have a HUD system where your armour's programming isn't related to your helm? So choose from X number of helms and Y number of different HUDs and mix and match to your heart's content!

1 답변I think the visual changes in the HUD for exotic/rare helmets are a great idea. But it seems as if it would be a little extravagant to have this implementation for every helmet.

1 답변Why say "would you rather" when you could have them all? The ideas you brought up in points one through four were all great. Personally, I'd love to see more customizations with the helmet's HUD and visor display. It could improve gameplay, and there wouldn't be any worries with imbalance because most of what you brought up deals with design. Night vision and thermal vision aren't bad ideas, but some may argue that they could become "over powered."

2 답변작성자: FairlySplendid 10/13/2013 10:40:33 PMI know I already commented on this topic, but I got to say: Even after reading everyone's comments, I still feel that interchangeable or customizable HUDs don't fit with the [i]frankly[/i] ballsy UI Bungie has developed for Destiny. It took a lot of confidence for Bungie to look at their previous games (as well as genre standards/expectations) and go the exact opposite route. Visually, it paid off. Destiny looks beautifully unobstructed, streamlined, and intuitive.

1 답변Halo 3's HUDs were slightly different when you played as an Elite or a Spartan. It was alright and I expect it'll be the same with the different classes at least in Destiny.

7 답변Let everyone go there own for preferences however night vision on exotic HUDs would be amazing like switch between that kinda stuff

3 답변I think only exotic helmets because the Guardians are probably issued a standard HUD system. However something else that would be really cool would be the ability to create our own HUD (place health, ammo, motion sensor, alerts, etc. where we like.)
