Personally, I think it's very interesting. It looks to have the potential to either be very intuitive or gimmicky. I've always hated using a keyboard an mouse for non-RTS games, and controllers have been void of innovation for a while. What are your opinions? Innovation or gimmick?

1 답변It's one of the worst controllers I've ever seen. It's even worse than the Atari 5200 controller. I'm not sure if I should make fun of Valve or applaud them for accomplishing that.

2 답변Valve made it, they don't typically screw things up. I'm sure there's great logic behind it.

I'm tempted so say this is going to be a terrible controller based off looks alone. However, I also have a feeling Valve wouldn't just throw a controller out there that hasn't been tested a good amount on its design and functionality. I really need to get my hands on it first to really decide.

I'm extremely skeptical. Having trackpads instead of analog sticks will make or break the controller. I honestly can't see the trackpad working out. The physical feedback from the friction of pushing an analog stick in one direction allows you to adjust accordingly.

It's interesting because it's something completely new. It could either be the best controller ever or a total failure. Touch pads could go either way. On one hand they're really different from analogue sticks, on the other hand touch is probably the most intuitive form of control and its something we use all the time these days.
