You've ignored the others thing Islam has done and only showed the bad. Your argument is biased as shit.

The Islamic golden age was a long long time ago. Face it, many of the religious insanities that occur today are done by Muslim extremists. There exists a problem in Islam with regards to radicalism and it must be dealt with.

Not really, all 'sides' (religions and atheism) commit acts of stupid from time to time. However biased media institutions with be biased and will only focus on the one's that will make them money, and since 9/11 thats be Muslims. Is radicalism a problem? Sure but if you supply radicals gun's/bombs it's only going to increase the problems and supplying them with more armaments is not the answer. (I'm tallking about Operation Cyclone and the Arab Spring)

You're right that those sides do things from "time to time"... except for Islam. Even if you ignore our propaganda/media and look at foreign sources or do your own research you will see that Islam has some serious problems. Granted, you could probably put a decent amount of the blame on the UK and France for how they carved out the mid-east after the war but regardless, Islamic radicalism is a major issue, and dwarfs the atrocities committed by other religious radicals.

You could put the entire blame on Western nations. From Israel's creation to the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan to the Partition of India to the Syrian Civil War, Western nations have had the final say/ pulled the strings. I believe Islamic radicalism is a by product of this- did you hear of any terrorist acts by radical Muslims before WWII? Do I think they should stop? Of course. Can I understand why they do these things? Yes. But still, Muslims who don't live in the turmoil areas of the Middle East or are indoctrinated by elements in it are just as sane/loving/friendly as anyone else we consider normal. So I don't Islam is batshit crazy.

Indirectly, the empires that ruled the ME back in the day share a lot of the blame. But radical interpretations of the Quaran have led to many extremists rising up and it's not only because of the West. Many times Islamic violence is a result of sectarian warfare, which the Syrian civil war has basically devolved into, so I don't see how the west is at fault there. Fact it, religious extremism is a big problem in the Muslim faith. And yes, the Muslims who live in the west and aren't extremists themselves tend to get along with others, but take a look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_attitudes_towards_terrorism#Recent_polls
An average of 25% of Muslims among the 20 nations surveyed believe suicide bombing and other forms of violence against civilian targets is justified at least rarely.
That and other parts of the section are worrying to me. That's a decent amount who think terrorism is SOMETIMES okay... Of course, there were also some reassuring statistics in that section too, but they do not take away the absurdity of the negative statistics. Also, Russia/USSR isn't considered to be part of the "west".
