Destiny better have more genders other than just "male" and "female"...
I'm so sick of all the cis-gendered games out there in this hellish world only allowing you to play as simply either a "male" or a "female". It's so obvious that the average developer's world and environment is based strongly around patriarchal values and ideas considering these two genders have been significantly over-endorsed.
We need more options such as trigender, genderless, genderfluid, bigender, even androgynous, and whatever else Bungie could fit into this game. It would make it a much better experience for myself, a pangendered person born into a female's body, as well as others.
Would anyone else be interested in seeing this come to pass? I would be incredibly disappointed if my suggestions go unheard.

This is stupid, gender is there for face and body choices, not anything else. You cant see their privates so why the -blam!- does it matter what other genders are included. All people in this world look like either a woman or man. Does a trigender person have a second nose you were hoping it incorporated? If you want your character to have a penis and vagina, then you can pretend they do.

Don't like it? Don't buy it. Destiny is not a life simulator. In Destiny you take on the [i]role[/i] of a Guardian. The make-up of that [i]role[/i] will be up to you. There are 2 primary sexes on this planet much like the 3 primary colours. Start with the primary given to you then mix it up if you like. Don't go hating because a game does not meet your specific requirements. If everyone got everything they wanted out of Destiny, every suggestion ever made on these forums, it would be horrible, have no continuity, no depth, no profit, no more Bungie. Go play 2nd life.

3 답변How about no gender settings at all? Just make the character creator as detailed as possible and let players self-identify as whatever they want.

Hey. I'd like all games to have a "no left arm" option, but I don't think that'll happen. Even when Bungie gave the option for a robotic arm in Reach, it was only on the right side, so I didn't use it. SCARS! I'm covered in horrific scars, but few games have scar options. there are a lot of human types left out when it comes to character creation. Wheelchairs are also never an option, or super obese bodies. It would be cool to see all of these. The gender thing is a bit easier to fix on your end. Just make a guy look more fem or a girl more butch. It's not like you can take your clothes off.

In the end it's an adventure game [b][u]not a sim[/u][/b]. What is under the armor stay under the armor and that's it... Seriously... We are here for fun, and when you have discussion anywhere you have to follow the 3 rules: No politics, no religion and no sports... "Sips whiskey"

You can't be a person born into the wrong body. You are who you are. You can't be a man in a woman's body or vise versa. One personality or feeling is not exclusive to one body or biology. This is why sex changes are so ridiculous. Obviously you are just as brainwashed by this fake "patriarchy" and its social constructionism as everyone else. Be who you are. Be happy with your body and be satisfied. Work with what you have and don't try to "correct" nature because nature is always right, not your selfish sexual desires or interpretations.

1 답변Well the character we play as is supposed to make us feel like it is our DESTINY, to feel like we are saving the world. Since i'm assuming everyone here is either male or female, why be something different than yourself?
