Your Prefered Gaming Device (Explain Yourself)
My main goal creating this thread is to tell the world why you love gaming on a certain device, and why, in the hopes of getting more people to at least try out. Don't dis other consoles, but if you are going to say something bad about any, try to also think of what is good about it, and only show your sources they are requested.
If you wonder about my opinion, I think Windows, Xbox, and iPhone each have their merits.
Windows/PCs are great for anything complex (ex. Civilizations) and have a huge library of games (steam), and steam was built for windows in the first place, so most steam games are on windows. There is also a similarly large library of simple-ish flash games that are usually free (kongregate, armorgames, newgrounds, andkon arcade, etc.). Plus, its also a computer.
For whatever reason, i find it easier to use a controller to play video games. It just is. This is especially true for all the shooter/action exclusives on said consoles. I play Xbox over PS partly because of halo, and partly because i find the controller more ergonomically correct. But, seeing how you can use such a controller for PC now, and that i don't always want my kinnect on for the Xbone, especially for Windows, I might go back to PC again (I'm already starting to).
The only reason I said the iPhone is also one of my favorites is the ease of use and usability. It is usually easy to understand controls for these games, and it's on your phone, and most people bring their phone with them everywhere. This started up casual gaming, and its getting more people to respect gaming as a hobby, because now everyone is a gamer! That is good and bad, but mostly good.
So, yeah. Just choose say what you need to, get your voice heard, convince people to join the PC Master Race, or just get into a console argument like a gentleman. Just be nice.

1 답변I personally prefer the PS4 right now. I had an Xbox 360 for a long time and really enjoyed it. However, I was constantly plagued by the "red ring of death." My Xbox was constantly breaking and never lasted more than a year or two. It was a constant pain to have to go out and buy a new Xbox when all I wanted to do was game. So, when the PS4 came out I decided it was time for a change. I love the game play and the reliability of the PS4 so far and can't wait to play destiny on my new console.

1 답변I prefer Xbox because I'm more of a multiplayer person and I have many wonderful memories with friends and Xbox LIVE over the years. I don't want to leave that behind. :)

1 답변작성자: NeonBaron 4/25/2014 10:53:09 PMI am honestly a PlayStation fan through and through but that is for several reasons 1. the first game system i had was an original Xbox and i went through three of them and never got a fourth because they all broke within a week of when i got them 2. honestly i like the dual-shock and psvita way better than the Xbox controllers which may be comfortable in your hand at first but they don't let your hands breath and they get sweaty fast. 3. all the things Microsoft said at the Xbox one reveal just further reminded me that i have come to dislike the xbox and unless Sony makes some seriously bad decisions i will never buy one. I like PCs a little but honestly keyboards are a pain and all the PC master race jerks just make me hate it more seriously i saw someone on you tube that said Watch Dogs looked like a ps2 game. in conclusion i submit that all PC gamers have serious eye damage and the graphics they see are delusions they brain creates.

Well, I always enjoyed Xbox over Playstation due to an amazing game known as Halo. Also, Destiny is going to be a social game, and Xbox is the console that all of my friends will be getting Destiny on. (Though that is more of a personal reason)

I get any and all I can feasibly get my hands on! I don't want to limit myself. As of now though its the old gen consoles and a PS4 because I was given it and my craptop, wish I could afford a stronger rig, but this does fine most of the time.

i preordered the ps4 to get at launch because alot of people i knew were getting that on launch and then with tax money i bought the xb1 and like/play the xbox 1 alot more than the ps4. Titanfall was fun for about a week then died just like cod. Infamous was fun for 2 playthroughs. theres just nothing out at the moment worth jumping on the next gen wagon. hopefully destiny will change that.

Me personally I like the ps4. I had a ps3 and to be honest I thought the xbox was better. But I never bothered to get it. the ps4 is great though! The online is top notch and the controller is the best I have ever felt!

Xbox because that's where I started, that's where halo is, that's where my friends play, I like the controller and... Well the last reason is very specific to my life but... All of my friends that own playstation hardware are complete assholes and we have since grown apart. It's just a coincidence and I know it's not related to Sony but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I think "Playstation"

ill probally get a lil hate but this is a biased poll figuring bungie has a very large xbox community and an equally large but newer playstation community that might not be as dedicated to the forums unless if they are dedicated to destiny or much older bungie games belonging on playstation such as oni and marathon
