My main goal creating this thread is to tell the world why you love gaming on a certain device, and why, in the hopes of getting more people to at least try out. Don't dis other consoles, but if you are going to say something bad about any, try to also think of what is good about it, and only show your sources they are requested.
If you wonder about my opinion, I think Windows, Xbox, and iPhone each have their merits.
Windows/PCs are great for anything complex (ex. Civilizations) and have a huge library of games (steam), and steam was built for windows in the first place, so most steam games are on windows. There is also a similarly large library of simple-ish flash games that are usually free (kongregate, armorgames, newgrounds, andkon arcade, etc.). Plus, its also a computer.
For whatever reason, i find it easier to use a controller to play video games. It just is. This is especially true for all the shooter/action exclusives on said consoles. I play Xbox over PS partly because of halo, and partly because i find the controller more ergonomically correct. But, seeing how you can use such a controller for PC now, and that i don't always want my kinnect on for the Xbone, especially for Windows, I might go back to PC again (I'm already starting to).
The only reason I said the iPhone is also one of my favorites is the ease of use and usability. It is usually easy to understand controls for these games, and it's on your phone, and most people bring their phone with them everywhere. This started up casual gaming, and its getting more people to respect gaming as a hobby, because now everyone is a gamer! That is good and bad, but mostly good.
So, yeah. Just choose say what you need to, get your voice heard, convince people to join the PC Master Race, or just get into a console argument like a gentleman. Just be nice.
Since i can't change the polls, i started a new thread located here.

It was the XBox and Bungie. So I'm going with the console that brought me the most good times. Also a 3DS, because I still like Pokémon and I have a lot of free time on my hands.

작성자: Gaien_ 5/9/2014 9:26:41 AMI'd say I play on portable consoles, such as the PSP and PSVITA. I have a PS3, but I hardly play it. Consoles, in my opinion, are better enjoyed when you have someone to play with. I'm not referring to online, either. Because I mostly game alone, portable consoles are the better choice for me. I will, however, play a system if it has exclusive games I'm interested in. It's the only reason I've gone from a Gameboy Advanced all the way to PSVITA. I might actually buy myself an Xbox 360. All the new consoles don't have any games worth jumping on board yet :/

I always grew up on Xbox so for me it would have to be Xbox. The controller just feels more natural in my hands, but I could simply be biased. I do enjoy Sony as a company and they strive to provide their customers with an excellent experience. I do not enjoy Microsoft because they believe they own the market when they really do not. To each their own though. If I had a powerful computer I might favor it, but as of now I cannot afford one.

I do not have the time, patience and money to keep a PC running, though everyone knows PC's are more powerful than any console. I prefer 360 and will upgrade to Xbox One when I have the money. I am not a fanboy started off with the Spectrum 48K and some of the old Atari consoles, then had Nintendo, Sega, Playstation, Xbox. Xbox meets my needs, I prefer Halo over Kill zone, Forza over Gran Turismo. I have both by the way, don't get me wrong had some fun on KZ2 multiplayer but the universe didn't grab me. No difference in what next gen consoles offer. The PS3 was more powerful than the 360 but 360 had better games. Now both platforms you have to pay to go online ,similar power. Both main companies will bleed us dry with Dlc and micro dlc etc. days are over we're you pay for a game and get the whole game. Because gaming is more lucrative than the film "movie industry" developers are prioritising big releases on consoles first, as they can get more money! P.C's are great but it's Xbox for me. Keep Right On!

작성자: Braydzz 5/5/2014 3:41:29 AMXbox. I don't like playstation's UI, Their controllers make my hands hurt and I don't like that many of their games. And I hardly play PC because I grew up using a controller not a keyboard and im procrastinating on learning how to play on a keyboard from square one. Sure they have controllers but most of the games aren't optimized for a controller so you'd have to learn how to use a keyboard anyways.

Xbox. For the Games, my friends, and controllers. Dont like PS games (save the oddball ones, but not worth the console) Don't like PS controller at all. Not hating on PS, might get one when I can. Owned a ps2 and did nothing w it. I don't care if comps are best, hate them. I like the idea of consoles. I like computers for point and click games like age of empires, but not worth it in long run for me.

3 답변The whole "this console over this one because of the controller" is so irritating to me -__- it's a 400 to 500 dollar frickin machine and you're not getting it because of the controller? It's called getting used to it....

Mac. Technically most of the gaming is done on Windows through Bootcamp, but it's still a computer made by Apple. That said, PC gaming is a really mixed bag. On one end, you get all the glory of Skyrim and all its mods. On the other end, Sleeping Dogs won't remain in fullscreen mode because of an unknown bug that apparently affects EVERYONE. :/

Microsoft lost my loyalty with the Xbox One, I don't like big brother, I mean Kinect, and just the fact they'd try to pull what they did with the internet stuff, that lost my trust. In the end my loyalty lies with Nintendo, but that is a very, very shaken loyalty, the Wii and Wii U have not impressed me (the Wii U is a console, not a Wii add-on, like how the Super NES is not an NES add-on). For now, I go with Sony's PlayStation, the PS4 won the next gen for me.

1 답변I personally prefer the PS4 right now. I had an Xbox 360 for a long time and really enjoyed it. However, I was constantly plagued by the "red ring of death." My Xbox was constantly breaking and never lasted more than a year or two. It was a constant pain to have to go out and buy a new Xbox when all I wanted to do was game. So, when the PS4 came out I decided it was time for a change. I love the game play and the reliability of the PS4 so far and can't wait to play destiny on my new console.
