I am very new to the entire battlefield franchise, and I need some help with the recon class. I'm not used to the massive distances and bullet drop in Battlefield so I need a few pointers. Also, what sniper rifle does the most damage and is the most accurate, what attachments do you recommend, and are some snipers less effected by bullet drop then others? Thanks for the help.

1 답변Use a 870 with slugs/ PDW and plant spawn beckons near objectives. Don't be a detriment to your team.

6 답변I really liked the M40A5 or the SV98. They don't quite have the power of the M98B or the distance, but they have a much higher rate of fire and a larger magazine size so they're the best to learn with for sure. Anyway, sniping in that game is ridiculous. It's like firing a bow and arrow, because the bullet drop is just incredibly unrealistic, like you have to aim a foot above a guy's head when he's 50 yards away. One thing. If you're gonna snipe from a distance use the SOFLAM and just keep it deployed. Nothing is more annoying than having 30 snipers and no anti-tank support, plus the radio beacon is just an annoyance for your squadmates if you're going to be way behind the front lines. It's only useful if you're playing an aggressive Recon with an SMG or shotgun.

1 답변작성자: Failure4Life 7/26/2013 2:38:43 AMThe M98B has the least bullet drop, however; I use the M40A5 as it has the fastest fire rate of all bolt actions making it more viable in close quarters than other guns. Also ALMOST NEVER use the 12x, the 8x scope covers almost all the ranges you will encounter unless you are sniping from the spawn in which case you are an ass. Never attach a suppressor on a sniper and your scope glint can be seen by anyone about 160 degrees away from your crosshair. Also as a side arm either use the M93R or the 44. Magnum, the M93R is great for close to medium range and the 44. is good for all but extremely long range. This is from the perspective of a PC player so it might differ on consoles.

2 답변작성자: TGI Skuldier 7/26/2013 3:14:14 AMBasically. If you are actually sniping, like from forever away, the M98 with a 12x scope is your friend. Its got the highest velocity so the bullet drop is negligible until you start getting wacky distance and the 12x scope will actually let you see where your bullets are going. Just be aware that the scope glints. Though if you are far enough away it doesn't really make a difference. Any of the other rifles will work with the 12x, but you'll be arcing your shots considerably more. Its possible, just a lot more difficult as the distance increases. This is all assuming you are actually sniping and not just sitting a couple meters down the road. If that's the case just grab a 4-8x and go to town. Generally if I'm that far away, I pick a reference point close to who I'm trying to shoot at and place a shot to see where it lands (like a building near them), then adjust accordingly. Don't just start blasting shots at them, because if you do get close but miss or don't kill then you just let them know they're getting shot at and they'll start running around and doing the worm. Also until you get good at placing the shots from long(er) distances you might consider using the bipod instead of the SP Bolt, just so you don't have to concentrate as much and you only have to worry about bullet drop rather than bullet drop and holding the scope still. If you choose a silencer it will make the bullet drop worse. Tac light and flashlight are useless at long distance.

3 답변A lot of people are saying the best sniper is the M98B, I disagree. The L96 is the most reliable IMO, and is just fine with a ballistic scope and bipod. After a while you'll get used to hitting stationary targets in the noggin while you compensate for gravity, but I still have trouble trying to hit moving targets from 400+ meters. Kharg Island is a pretty good map for sniping, Firestorm has a couple decent spots, Caspian has a few vantage points as well, namely the tower

5 답변The best sniper is the M98B and every notch on the scope represents the drop rate from approx 100m Straight pull bolt and whatever scope you like is the best idk about the third attachment.

6 답변Best sniper rifle would be the M98B, but it's the last one you unlock. It's also got the highest bullet velocity of all the other Sniper rifles, which means the bullet will hit the target in the shortest amount of time. I'd recommend using 12x scope for long distance shots, 8x for medium distance shots, and ACOG or just 4x for everything else. Just a tip about the 4x, they give you decent magnification with no Scope Glint.

Eventually you'll learn and get used to it.
what sniper rifle does the most damage and is the most accurate
The last one you unlock.
what attachments do you recommend
Big map? The longest scope you have. Small map? Holographic sight. Either of those along with a silencer and a bipod. Oh yeah. And a straight pull bolt. This is a necessity.
are some snipers less effected by bullet drop then others
Not that I know of.
