6 답변Since the world is living and what not it would be impossible for that to happen offline. Living breathing interactive worlds like destiny cant exist without being connected to some kind of server god to oversee and simulate all these living unpredictable elements. If the game was offline it would all be simulated and restricted to the disc size / console power. Under those restrictions bungie can only pack a limited number of "living" variables into the game to mix it up. After playing it for a certain period of time the surprises would dry up and there would be no way to spice it up and have that huge planetary scale since it would be "offline". Not to mention the scope of the game overall would be a lot smaller :( Its unfortunate for those who cant connect to broadband at least, but this type of game in the way bungie is trying to take it simply isn't possible without being tied to some kind of server. The same case is with titanfall. The only reason its exclusive to XB1 is because microsoft can give Respawn access to world wide massive server farms for free. Sony doesnt have the money to rent servers of that scale for a game like titanfall nor does EA(mainly because they already have their own games like battlefield that have servers to pay for). My point of going into this is to back up that activision / bungie have their own servers to power these living breathing galaxy =) That got really long but I hope it helps any to better understand & not feel as bad.

2 답변As most have already stated, being online is a requirement but what's not mention often is how the game works in single player mode. I remember Deej mentioning that Destinyis more enjoyable as a team but there are some guys working in a dark room making sure that the single player experience will be absolutely amazing as well.

2 답변Actually I do mind, this was posted in a thread literally 6 threads beneath this one. This post is lazy and only contributes to the mess. Maybe you can find you answer in one of these many pre-existing threads. http://www.bungie.net/7_Single-Player--Offline-Play-Petition/en/Forum/Post?id=59842223 or http://www.bungie.net/7_Whats-does-the-offline-aspect-of-Destiny-look-like/en/Forum/Post?id=62118043 or http://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Offline-play/en/Forum/Post?id=59843675 or http://www.bungie.net/7_Offline-Gameplay/en/Forum/Post?id=60663721 Becoming just as bad as the other redundant threads, Why will no one take time to actually look through this forum? You would be surprised at what information is already available instead of just adding to the mess and burying quality threads like this one: http://www.bungie.net/7_SE-New-interview-with-David-Dunn-101713/en/Forum/Post?id=62318862
you are lazy
1 답변WTF! I hope to God we will at least be able to enjoy offline LAN parties with multiplayer. I want Destiny to fully replace Halo for me.

Online is required to even play Destiny. You can play it solo and never team up with other people, but it will still be online. Even though there will be other people running around, you don't have to team up with them, but you will have to have an active internet connection and a current LIVE Gold/PS+ account in order to play any pf Destiny. There, I've said it two different way, hopefully that will help many people out.

2 답변Due to public events and the living world affecting the story arc. It has to remain online so everyone's experience is in sync. Eventhough you can play completely lone wolf if you like. The "Living world" will change whether you are there or not.
