Will being a Guardian be optional?
In the E3 demo there is an Awoken "outlaw" type npc that doesn't seem to be a member of The City and if that is the case, would he not be a Guardian?
Also, during an interview, Joseph Staten mentions that "A Ghost is issued to every Guardian of The City. So if you're a Guardian of The City, you get your own Ghost."
I could be looking way too into this, but I figured I'd see what you all thought. That would be interesting.

3 답변I think you've mixed up the questions "Will this happen?" and "Would you want this?" The answer to the first question is "Definitely not" The answer to the second is "What's the point?"

21 답변I would play as a NPC if I could. I would repeat the same generic line every time you walked near me. And I'd block doorways and glitch in walls. I'd stare at you and be unkillable. So if I blocked a door and you got fed up with my lines and got frustrated and attacked me, a bounty would go on your head (like a wanted for crime idea) and I'd take a knee to recover from the attack. Once healed I'd stand back up and act as if nothing happened.

I like this idea and i think it would be cool as i would have one of my saved characters as the "nomad" (lacking a name ill use this) because once i had finished the campaign myself i would love to help other fire teams randomly tracking across the wilderness on Patrol (game mode) or on a campaign mission. Either way the game will be great and I dont see why this cant be an option. Bungie has been working on it long enough. Most games can take around 2 to 4 years maximum to create but this game has been in full development for nearly 7 years and the concept has been thought about for longer still. so there are likely to be man things that we are not being told about.

2 답변It would be a cool idea to see the city from another perspective, but I think that the game is big enough already without throwing in a whole new viewpoint :C Maybe there'll be a DLC in the future which shows a slightly different story.

That would be interesting.[/quote] wouldn't make much sense the whole pitch of the game is 2 be the Guardian of the last city I can't see them saying or u could be a Titan pizza boy delivery on time is your vitally mission or Hunter taxi driver having 2 deal with shh from other players that chose 2 be guardians or Mechanic for Spaceships I can hear some of the players now yo Mec change my oil so I can fly and do some real work unlike fix a wing or change a battery
