Why was Chakas banned? Was what he said really that offensive?
Some of you may know Chakas, who was recently banned for two weeks because he posted some unpopular opinions in the "Share some Unpopular Opinions" thread. What he said was quite controversial but I wasn't aware that it was ban worthy. I know for a fact that he doesn't actually believe the things he posted. So why was he banned mods? Was what he said really that bad? Because I don't think it was. Were people really offended so much that he was banned within 5 minutes of posting it?

3 답변If enough users wanted them banned, and the mods can see why people wanted them banned, then they will give them a ban. Mods dont just ban like they used to, unless its something pretty bad. But just posting wont get them banned for "spam" like before. ONLY if enough people mark it as spam and the mods can understand why, then they will authorize a ban that the system will give them.

The flood is gullible and oftentimes downright stupid, but damn. If you are honestly expecting any reasonably intelligent person to believe you are not Chakas' alt, you are an idiot.

25 답변Based on what I read ITT it seemed like he talked about CP. Considering the only person that would care about this Chakas person would be the person that got banned I am assuming it is you. It is quite simple talk about CP in depth and you will most likely be banned. It is ok to talk about lolis, hentai, porn, but just don't talk about CP at least not too much.

10 답변From what I've gathered from below, this Chaka fellow said some rather unsavory things about pedophilia. I don't think it matters that the topic of the thread allows such discussion, it could have still gone against the Bungie Terms of Service. Unless someone can otherwise enlighten me, I'd like to assume he was in the wrong.
