작성자: LaBrigade 7/8/2013 5:35:56 PMI remember settling down and replaying Sony's conference as I missed it the day before. The conference wasn't bad, you know, pretty cool stuff did happen. That moment when Bungie came on stage though...I couldn't believe it because the long partnership with MS and I was thinking "yeah, nothing interesting is gonna happen, just an announcement about some partnership, meh". I remember just sitting there and the guys on stage announced that they want to show off their project. As soon as the Intro started, I knew this was the ****! When the guys on stage started playing I really started to pay attention to every detail...I mean the massive towers which fell down (dynamic world) I just loved it! Every single thing in that demo. Even when the lights were activated and it illuminated the whole area inside the dam or whatever it was. I felt like the gameplay was really engaging. It sounds a bit cheesy, I know, but seriously...I'm a massive fan of post apocalyptic games (awesome face) and I automatically fell in love with this game. It had that certain feel to it..that feel of originality, challenge, exploration and that's what I love about games. Also when I heard it was a multiplayer game? I can't sum it up but with this picture: http://imgur.com/pSt8055 I can't wait to buy this game and play it, it will set the bar for other upcoming games..

I want to play Destiny because I grew up a fan of Bungie. Halo Combat Evolved was the first shooter I ever played. I know Bungie is going to do great things with this game and I look forward to playing the next evolution in the FPS genre of gaming and seeing how Bungie will top themselves.

Im going to make this as simple as possible because I could go on for hours talking about why I want to play Destiny. But the main reason is because I have had Bungie in almost my entire life. I grew up with HaloCE on the PC and Xbox and then went to the Halo2 midnight release with my brother in 2004 and have been a huge and hooked fan since. When you guys left halo in 2011 I was disappointed, but I didn't leave you guys as a fan like a lot of people did. And when i heard you guys were making a new game I didn't listen to the reviews, i instantly knew i was going to purchase it because you were making it and i had and still have faith in you guys for making a great game like the ones you have blessed us with over the so many years. There are a lot of posts about this subject and I doubt you will pick me because there may be way more qualified then i am but just knowing that you might read this excites me. Thank you for everything bungie!!!!!!

I love the world that BUNGiE created with Halo. I read all the books, watched all the terminals, and, of course, beat every game. I can't wait to see what you guys do with Destiny. Im mostly interested in what on Earth(or above Earth) the Traveler is, and what the story is behind the Vex. Oh yeah, and SPACE MAGIC!

I want to play Destiny because It's an interesting turn in the type of games were use to seeing them make. Sure, It's still Si-fi, but it looks great, the art is beautiful, and Bungie never disappoints . With the integration with the bungie app and the games is a cool interestring new play style. And Also that it's on Playstaion. I Have both Playstation, and xbox, and I'm glad to get a Playstation game I know I' won't be putting down. Playing Halo For the 12 years it's been around for gives me lot's to expect. With gameplay, and fine arts aspects. I know this games is gonna be great, and a new legend will be made!

The reason why I want to play Destiny is because I want something new that'll keep me busy something sniper/support users friendly, I've played games like: Dust 514, mass effect (3) , battlefield (3), and call of duty(WaW, MW2, BO) and they've all left a bad taste in my mouth: Dust 514 is a good game but not sniper / sidearm friendly alot of the guns effectiveness were under powered some needed more fire power others faster Rate of Fire (sidearm and Sniper Rifle). Mass Effect (3) was also a good game but sadly it was an EA game, the internet was horrid sometimes, even when I go to play privately i'll disconnect from EA but not the PsN, battlefield (3) same thing little bit different alot of the time I just get lag spikes aside from all this EA messed up horribly, instead of having a vote kick system they allowed users to "RENT A SERVER" as well as administrate the rent server allowing unfair dictation of the flow of gameplay, aside all this cheating glitchers and slow reloading rockets and missiles (that were also slow moving at times) simply left a bad taste in my mouth. Then finally Call of Duty.... (nuff said) Through the entire genre the community was always too young (children playing an adult game) and then you had people using game mods to cheat the game (UAV hack, aim bot etc.), I mean combating them and reporting them helped but overall there were simply too many. So all of that listed above, THATS why I want to play Destiny, cause i'm really hoping that this will leave a better taste and will support many, MANY, play styles. (Whew! That felt good releasing all that game tension, I know its late, but I really needed to get that off my chest just really needed to vent.) Thanks to anyone that reads this and I hope you feel the same!

I want to play Destiny so I can share the experience with my friends. I want to be able to look back ten years from now, and be able to say "I was there when it all started." I want to play Destiny because I need a new game to refuel my passion for games. Destiny promises innovation and pushes the envelope for a new genre of games. THAT is what gets me HYPED for Destiny! The feeling of being able to share with my close friends, Bungie's bold new adventure is something beyond words for expression. I can not wait to see first hand this amazing universe that you guys at Bungie have held and nurtured so delicately for so long. I promise to treat her right.

작성자: Dastille 7/8/2013 2:45:49 PMMy story begins a long time ago. I stumbled into a computer game in development, and fell in love with the concepts, story, and characters. It wasn't long after that the company announced changes, and the game went console only. I'd been a computer gamer for years, and I wasn't ready to make the switch. I've played it and it's successors a few times over the years, and I even was there for the first midnight release ever of a game at our big box store as a salesmen when version2 came out. (I even got int he spirit and made custom name tags for some of us) To make a long story short, I feel that the company has regressed back into (or maybe it hadn't changed as much as I thought) the one I fell in love with years ago and never pursued. I feel the same way today about Destiny as I did with Halo those many years ago, and I'd like a second chance. P.S. I will have to buy a console in order to play, so if you decide last minute to go windows 8 only.... (empty threat)

작성자: Zayah117 7/8/2013 2:30:58 PMI want to play Destiny because you're awesome Bungie, ever since I played Halo CE 10 years ago I have been blown away by your awesomeness. I've spent countless hours in your worlds, and I could spend countless more. And now we have Destiny around the corner, this new world that you guys have put together for me, especially for me. For me to explore and live in. For me to have countless more adventures in. You guys will surely have world domination one day.

I want to play Destiny because no other game company has ever captured "having fun with your friends" quite as efficiently and neatly as Bungie. There is just something special about being able to sit down with your friends, pick up a couple controllers, and run around kicking ass, especially when the opponents are actually challenging. I've never been one to worry about a competitive meta-game, or dedicating hours to perfect speed runs (as awesome as they are). I just like to be challenged with my friends, and come out on top, even if that means dying a few times. Elites did that for me. Brutes did that for me. Hunters did that for me. The Flood did that for me. Grunts, well, they threw grenades. But now I'm looking forward to the Fallen, the Cabal, the Hive, the Vex, and anything else that dares to stand against us. I'm looking forward to overcoming new challenges, and I have faith that Bungie can provide those challenges. I want to play Destiny because I have faith that Bungie truly can make me Become Legend.

Just imagine you, your friend and a new companion you rescued from before. You heard a decoded signal which you thought was a distress call from the moon, so you were checking it out, because we cannot afford to leave any more of our friends now that our race stands on the brink of extinction. However, as you approach the weightless mass of rock hovering in this vast space, you notice that the signal actually descends from the core of the moon. Your friend suggests we call for a scout team and leave. Maybe contact that famous hunter clan. But you and the newcomer are even more interested by now, as if this sudden urge to investigate comes from an external source. As if it is pulling you in. This, your friend already realized. Your three ships halts close above the surface, to scan the area. The newcomer voluntarily boosts on ahead to scout the area. Just a pale, dead rock. No one expected there was to be any form of activity. A short moment after you've been eyeballing this lonely mass, and your friend trying to decode this signal and it's exact source, the newcomer contacts the two of you. He had found... Something. Something big. You quickly close in on his location when you gradually start to see it revealing behind a crater. None of you had ever seen anything like it. Now you are more determined than ever to unveil this mystery. You land in a small, abandoned base nearby. The moment you step on the ground... You never know what awaits... This may be too late and may not belong here, but this is what comes to mind when thinking about destiny. The mysteries. The lost golden age, and the last fragile stand. It's magnificent! Just can't wait to get my hands on this masterpiece!

I want to play Destiny because few game demos have captured the sense of adventure, discovery and uncertainty of success that the Destiny E3 demo did. From the moment I laid eyes upon the Walls of Old Russia for the first time, I was filled with the sense of how grand and awe inspiring the vistas of Destiny would be. The implied story of a mad dash to the city to escape some unknown danger drew my attention and made me want to explore this world. That is why I want to play. To explore the vast landscape of a Earth broken by war, to learn the stories of times long past, and to write my own story in this Bungie shooter.

Why, isn't it obvious? Bungie is not only a gaming company, it is a way of life, (Yeah, I said it, what are you going to do about it?). Over the past few years I have incorperated Bungie references into daily life. For example: Everyday I run 7 laps around my complex for exercise and I complain to my teacher when I don't get the seat number 7 in my class. If Bungie is my way of life; of course I'll be buying what they made.

I've always been a long time Bungie fan, most likely not as much as a lot of these people here. But after playing countless hours of Halo 1,2,3,ODST and Reach I knew that these games would be in my heart for a long time to come. Many of my friends and I constantly still talk about our old memories in Bungie games and now we are very excited to play Destiny on the new consoles. As I have an interest in concept and art design I was completely terrified for my schooling when I saw Destiny's environments, characters, gameplay and art. A bold new journey that I knew I'd spend another thousand hours in. I absolutely cannot wait to explore the wastelands of Earth and travel to other planets in our solar system. I cannot wait to forge my Destiny.

I want to play Destiny because when I watched the GDC Conference and Jones and Staten spoke about building their new world, I was hooked. The concepts, the worlds and the familiar nature of "our own backyard" is an enticing slice of gaming pie. I've soaked up everything Destiny like a sponge and my body is ready. Destiny is everything I could want in a game- no, game is the wrong word- Experience. Everything I could ever want in an experience.
