No, and I myself find it hard to imagine why a kid would. I never had a problem understanding the reasons behind not getting something I wanted, and just went with it, albeit slightly disappointed.
I was a terrible child growing up, probably why i'm so quiet and respectful now, so yes i don't remember having tantrums in Toys R Us specifically, but i almost know that it probably did happen at one time. My sister who is ten years older than me doesn't want to have kids anymore because of how bad i was when she had to babysit me.
I've only been to a Toys "R" Us like once, and that was when I was twelve.
I never really had tantrums as a kid, seemingly passed on to my younger brother.
No, but I once got really sad at some store because I couldn't get a spiderman action figure. My mom basically had to drag me around store.
lol
EDIT: Hell, once at a Toys R' Us, I was getting the multi-headed dragon figure from some old show, and out of nowhere, my mom's like, "Well, you need a guy to go with the dragon." Blew my mind. One of my best childhood days ever.
Not really, any time I went there was when I was younger and was to get a present for me or someone else, and occasionaly I'd get a yugioh booster pack since I was into yugioh for a few years of my childhood.
I went once when I was 7. I found an item that changed my life forever. I played with it the entire time my mother browsed for a cousins birthday gift. It was absolutely mesmerizing. To this day, I haven't come across another. Pic related.
There was no Toys r Us when I was a kid.
I have seen kids that needed a good swat that were throwing tantrums there before though.
This kid would never have made it to that age if he were mine.
