So I keep tipping the Chinese delivery guy $3.50
It's the same guy every time, too, so he caught on rather quickly to what was going on. Whenever I order Chinese I order around 25 dollars of it, to last a couple of days. But I always give him the same tip.
Well today, he finally made mention of the $3.50 by making a really upset face and simply saying in a strong Asian accent, "I am not lochness monster," and walking away after he half-angrily handed me the food.
I had to hold in my laughter with every ounce of power in my being. It was funny, but I think I'm going to stop because next time he might bring a gun.
So flood, ever do something like this?

Delivery isn't the same as tipping a waiter. You dont have to tip that standard 15% like you would a waiter you usually tip a couple bucks. What you are giving for your meal is pretty generous since its just for delivery. Next time give him two bucks and if he complains again, give him 1 and so on I think he'll get the picture pretty quick. $5 for a delivery tip is ridiculous.

1 답변Why was he complaining? A tip is a tip, he should be happy you do it in the first place. I know it's part of his paycheck, but still, a lot of delivery people don't get great tips. I used to work as a pizza delivery personnel myself, I used to get tips in change only.
