In Destiny, what would you like to see?
1. All merchants have the same stock and prices no matter how remote they are.
2. All the merchants have different stock and prices depending on how remote they are.
3. Same as 1 but some very select few merchants carry one or two rare items.
4. Same as 2 but some very select few merchants carry one or two rare items.

2 답변The merchants having rare items would have to be a rare occurrence in itself. I also wouldn't want the items to very rare, more like something that is useful but somewhat hard to get otherwise (but not impossible).

1 답변4. Keeps it interesting, so long as the merchants don't price-gouge for medkits (if they are in the game) or ammo when out in the middle of nowhere. I think it would be cool if merchants away from the city have a tendency to sell rarer/more valuable gear

1 답변I picked 4. because if all the Merchants had the same thing for the same price then why would we have more then one... Running to each Merchant just to find they all have the same thing is boring and monotonous...

작성자: Tactical Dogg0 5/17/2013 2:30:17 AMTo clarify with the rare items bit, say there are 500 merchants scattered all across Earth. Some are in the last city, some are hidden in the far reaches of the planet. I would say that only the hardest to find merchants, say 50 of them, would carry rare (not the rarest) items, but only say 1 or 2 items. By rare, I mean like a special version of an assault rifle that has some special upgrades that are medium/hard to find. Basically upgraded items that you can still create/find, but not crappy pistols or anything. A decent weapon or armour piece with a decent upgrade.. It has to be worth purchasing. The prices for such an item? A high price, but not so high that it would drive you to forget about it. Just within grasp if you play another couple of hours.. You never know, you may stumble across it on your quest to earn more money to buy the item.. Or not.

1 답변Merchants should have one price for any given item, especially consumables, but start to carry better and better stock as you progress, for higher prices. It would be lame if you wanted to buy 'medpack A' but had to travel a long distance to the merchant that sells it a few bucks off. Basing prices on remoteness doesn't make sense, why not base it off the current expected progression of the players going through an area, regardless of where it is. And I'd expect rare items to be loot drops or in one of the super uppety vendors right in the middle of the city. I want to go adventure and kill stuff for gear, not hike to some guy out in the middle of nowhere just to BUY it. I mean, if you can buy an item from a vendor IT'S NOT CONSIDERED RARE.

2 답변id say have some area specific stuff like jungle camo, but then have a generalized inventory mixed in as well. then you can have snow clothes and general armor when up on a mountain or some such situation

1 답변I really hope after a long while of playing the game that I could retire and become a merchant, would be fun for some people.

I want a huge variety of items among merchants, but they all carry the essentials like ammo. They should sell unique items that can only be bought by special tokens or rare gems. Not every merchant carries rare items, and no merchant sells the same rare item. While exploring you may encounter these rare tokens/gems and use them to acquire this rare armor or weapon.

2 답변No rare items shouldn't be something you sell. It should be something you find on your adventures. That's the problem with Skyrim. You can freaking buy Daedric items from a shop.

3 답변A rare item that can be bought by anyone with the cash for it? How is this a rare item?

No rare items because then they wouldn't be rare, (unless the merchant themselves who sells them is really hard to find) but every merchant should have completely different stock and prices. Ideally I would like to see different currency for different areas with alternating exchange rates, but that might be a bit far fetched for destiny, they have to make three more games you know!
