I'm still waiting for DeeJ to roll out the Weekly Water Updates, continuing in his predecessor's footsteps by talking inanely about recent updates to water in their upcoming game in an attempt to stall for time.

I think Bungie will use steep mountains and deep water to cut off world levels. So, I don't think we'll be able to travel by boat or anything. Do I see there being water in Destiny? Yes. Water that you can walk through? Yes. Whether that be fountains in the last city, a shallow tide coming along the beaches of <wherever>, water crashing into the rocks of Venus, a creek through the jungles of earth, a stream like what we saw on Powerhouse. But nothing like swimming in deep water, taking a boat out on the waves. Perhaps, there will be dungeons that are set up like Rapture. Where it's a underwater civilization, or an aquariem type deal, but nothing where you traverse IN water.

I think there should be water based areas, yes. It would be cool to actually storm a beach like in Normandy.

That would make sense, seeing as most life more than likely started in water, some are have bound to stay and evolve.

That would be nice! If they would indeed inhabit the seas then Destiny would be also needing underwater bases and ways to reach them..

I'd like water focused environments. I'm not so certain about anything under the water. None of the aliens seem to live underwater.
