Would you stand up and defend those parents in that situation or in general?

I definitely would. I haven't gotten the opportunity to considering anytime I hear the words [cigarette], gay, homosexual in my school it's used as an adjective to describe something dissatisfying, and any kids in my school who A) aren't girls and B) are gay haven't come out, because it's high school. I most definitely would if I saw it happening though.

15 답변I have. Some rednecks tried to show up at the SD Pride parade. Most of the people in my area seemed to be afraid of them. I calmly walked over and told them that they should leave. When they threatened me, I calmly told them that even if they won, they were going to jail for a hate crime. They walked away. I'm not gay, but I m NOT cool with bigots.

2 답변Never really encountered a problem like that but I defend anyone who is being bashed. You can say whatever you like on the Internet but in a restaurant there is no place for stuff like that. And nobody has personally attacked me for my beliefs, there were a few minor insults but I didn't let it bother me.
