Yars Rising is primaily an homage to Yars’ Revenge, but it’s also an homage to Atari in general, including a required Pong minigame right before the final boss. It’s super clever and fun the way they pull it off, but sweet baby corn am I so awful at Pong. That but always totally kills my momentum.
