It would be nice if the shadow buff was gathered more equally, particularly in the final boss rooms. I can gather four buffs and be at Novice one time, then I gather four later in the fight from zero buff to me, and I randomly go from no buff to Apprentice or even Master. Also, I’ll often step into a shadow pool I haven’t touched yet, and it doesn’t apply. It just does nothing. I’m just asking for consistency.
