Bungie doesn’t care about the community
Refusing to talk because it may be bad press for Marathon shows they are still so disconnected from their community.

3 답변Honestly, there's nothing they could say that would make Marathon look any worse than it already does. That trailer for it in the state of play yesterday looked awful. It was like it was made by someone with a very short attention span. Just a lot of loud noises and flashing imagery.

Bungles hands are completely tied and I bet they were directed to focus on Marathon only. Sony is done with letting Bungle do whatever they want. Bungle Studios got themselves to this point and Sony is left dealing with the fact that Bungle Studios is indeed an absolute joke of a studio now. A studio can only go so far using their legacy to stay relevant. RIP D2.

3 답변I enjoy extraction shooters but the way Bungie have handled the d2 community (currently with radio silence AND their track record of taxing their playerbase for short term profit and reducing quality over time) means I'm not going to get marathon. No confidence in the company and no good faith left either. Companies like CAPCOM and HELLO GAMES are the true mvps, I throw money at them (buying dlcs, preorders, hell i've bought NMS 4 times on different devices just because) because they treat their players like customers not wallets

4 답변They haven’t cared for a long time. Marathon is their shiny new toy that they have to convince you to waste your time on. So they will 100% spend time promoting that over the aging 12 year (I think that’s what it is now, can’t be bothered to count right now) franchise.

Regardless of reason, not communicating with their community is hurting them. But they’ve been doing it for years now. I truly don’t get it. Either they’re really clueless or they don’t care. I’ve stopped expecting things from them. I’ll continue to play trials, but without any other content I’m pretty much done until next update.
