Remove Volatile Shield Trade Off from the Game
One of the worst and annoying modifiers is back, I remembered this was in solo ops and this wasn’t fair for solo ops players. Because I know you can use heal clip or heal grenades problem is on ultimate or grandmaster the enemies can easily drain your health and you’re weakened and slow, making this much more stressful and the worst part about this modifier is solo players hate this and consider it unfair. Because, it basically means they need a teammate to defuse or they need devour or healing grenades and this really affects the gameplay and the players punishment and stress. Now whats annoying is when you’re weakened and volatile there’s a give up but half of the players refuse and hate to give up cause that’d be waste of a revive and time.

작성자: WeirdApple 1/22/2026 7:36:49 PMThey reworked this modifier months ago and turned it into a borderlands style "fight for your life" mechanic where you can revive yourself by getting a kill while downed (it let's you shoot your gun while down now). It's a strict benefit to the player as reviving yourself this way or having a teammate revive you doesn't use a revive token. The modifier also boosts your shield (white) health to the exact amount as the usual max health (white + red) so if you go "down", you would have just died anyways. Its also only opt in now. It won't show up in any preset modifier/matchmade activities. Why are we complaining about this still?
