i'd be happy if they just flat lined it at 70 for every exotic drop or decrypt. missing out on the 5 points in lue of the exotic perk you get seems fair.
Lower stats from collections, mid stats from engrams, and high stats from rare sources... they need to be tiered like legendaries... let them drop up to 75 like a tier 5. Equipping an exotic at 63 can sometimes weaken a build if you a relying on quad 100's or penta 75's.
Better idea exotic armor should have a baseline of 135 with it being 35 30 25 then 15 to the 3 lowest stats and add an extra +10 to everything when masterworked if we're limited to 1 exotic armor piece it better be damn well worth that lockout
nah exotics should be worthless so later they can make them good but require some obnoxious grind so you have to reearn them all and then clear out 100 spots in your vault to hold them all and then grind out mats to upgrade them, theyre wasting your time now to farm it later
