It's been said before, but primary weapons need to do more damage in high end content, even the best new guns struggle to get the job done in a reasonable time
Also the ammo economy remains very limited, despite the updates with deterministic ammo generation, and artifact perks, what am I supposed to do?
This is a first person shooter with loot elements, and the prized guns don't work too good, and the ammo is very scarce, so not much shooting

4 답변t's just another cheap way to minimise our power level. In a game that was once lauded and acclaimed for its gun play, this is one of the the worst moves that Bungie could have made. They prefer players to play how THEY want, being funnelled through an unwanted portal, having to rely on armour builds and space magic, and dependant on what the advantages are determined by the seasons artifact. This is no longer king of the shooter looters, and the thousands that have left realised this a while ago.

I don’t always want to play with the lightsaber but beyond that primaries are pretty weak. I have a couple that can do a job. Kinetic tremors on a hand cannon actually does stun a barrier champ (seems like most don’t - at least not before you get minced) and will chunk damage off it. But most are pretty useless in general and absolute trash compared to the damage my abilities do, especially since the changes to grenade damage and autonomous turrets. I think that the balance is off, no doubt. To be honest most people I see are using praxic to survive and kill barrier champs and abilities to do the rest of their outgoing damage. Even heavies can’t compete with an arc turret doing 60% increased damage and jolting everything. I might be biased though as I hate the concept of champions and the seasonal artifact dictating what weapons you have to use. Especially as this season it’s absolute trash. They so want everyone using praxic blade.

8 답변Well they are actually quite good, the problem is everyone wants to use max dps for blast encounters. They are good at clearing up chaff enemies and they are quite efficient if you take your time with the game. I love using them in solo flawless runs because it’s always a reliable weapon to use to get amo back. Some encounter design is the problem. Master witness for example requires double special cause the damage is hard to meet. However I have use primary weapons on that encounter but it was a heavy pulse. You have to use the right archetype for the encounter.

8 답변Well… - Infinite ammo saber with the best guard any sword has ever had. -Full artifact tailored to it -Probably the most hype eververse items ever associated with it. - OP rocket pulse for the portal carrot in a different slot At a minimum this won’t change until the next DLC. Even then I see them keeping the Saber very strong just nerfing rocket pulses to free up primary options.
