Stay away for a while to realise how bad it is!
Take a break. Come back. I swear we’ve all gotten used to how absolutely garbage this game is and we feel like it’s normal.
Error codes, glitches, getting stuck in the campaign, non-existent MM, latency from hell, contacting Destiny 2 servers, ridiculous difficulty, outrageous time requirements paired with error codes, lack of checkpoints, limited revives, timers, malfunctioning mechanics … it is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!
This game is so awful, it’s not even funny anymore. It’s absolute garbage. They fill Eververse and then give you the finger after you have bought an armour set for 20 euros! TWENTY!!! Everything you can earn in game looks like garbage. You can only hope to find cool stuff on the bright dusty rotation but those are only the armour sets that nobody buys. When did the Spectral Displacer set come out? More than a year ago? Still 20 euros. Meanwhile I can buy some weird what I’m assuming is some sort of anime-inspired pink set for 6000 bright dust. Yeah, nobody wants that trash and seeing how a daily challenge gives me ten bright dust and I have to do 600 of those to afford it, it’s even more of a joke.
Nothing works in this game. Challenges are disabled, others are up and running but cannot be completed. The timers are ridiculous. NOBODY has tested any of the conquests. This is some streamer-induced nonsense thought up by people who cannot stand the fact that maybe parts of the game are doable without watching their disgusting 20-minute-6-commercials YouTube videos with no chapters and 90% redundancy.
This is such a toxic money-making scheme. The game is impossible. You have to rely on streamers to get anything done. The game itself is falling apart. All content is recycled garbage pressed into new formats that it was never made for. The Eververse team is 80% of the operation at this point. Ridiculous.
I haven’t played much since Renegades started. Haven’t even finished the campaign. And I still have no idea where the stupid light sword even comes from. I was a huge and loyal fan. Now I’m close to putting the game down forever.
What a waste.

I stayed mostly away for over two years and just came back to purchase Renegades (not for the SW garbage to clarify that). It’s much better than it was when Lightfall ended and the Final Shape started. It’s still a cluster and feeling its way through the dark. I like a lot of where the game is now, although I feel it’s not long for this world and trying to scrape us all hollow for sustenance. Space powers feel great, portal and small world feel stifling.

2 답변I too, took a break then came back to being sonic the guardian in mario pipe land, after a very hearty laugh, went on another break, and again on return, a blatant Star Wars rip-off, that just hurt, so I'm going on yet another break, can't wait until they rip-off Star trek. Why do I comeback, was stupid enough to spend a lot of money, so I return to check on my investments, sadly there's no way to 'sell' back.

NGL, I'm regretting coming back. I'll play till my new friends quit and move on in next couple of weeks then it's uninstall time. Sony said it better than us all: Destiny has failed to meet (their) expectations. I suppose we can all agree on this.

For real though, on the bug front, yeah, that's what happens when someone guts the entire QA department and half of every other department just so he and his cronies can generate a few tax write-offs and maybe get a new expensive car each....

Every time I’ve ever taken an extended break from D2, I come back with a renewed love for the game. I’m not as committed to the grind as I use to be, but I still love my HC/shotty combination that doesn’t feel the same in any other game.

7 답변You see it like this when you have critical thinking & don't like being mugged off 😁 every issue you said, is on point, others somehow cope with it & don't care enough too. I have a certain standard I'll accept, & destiny falls below this (PvP) & pve is absolutely getting worse regarding how the game actually runs. PvP I've no idea how people play this daily, the slow mm, numerous pre loading screens, voice lines cutting out, cross play desync, latency, poor loot, zero lobby balancing, 3rd party devices etc etc etc Others simply use it for fun, & they find fun somehow, fair play.

It’s not even the bugs and technical errors for me. It’s the lack of true innovative ideas that go beyond a new weapon archetype here and there. It’s the lack of true progression and building of that one weapon that you can truly call your own based on how [i]you[/i] choose to upgrade it. It’s the constant negative deltas combined with modifiers that make pve content as sweaty as a trials match that’s tied 4-4. Above all, it’s the sinking feeling that Marathon sucked up whatever passionate staff remained that made Destiny what it once was.

95 답변I took a long break after TFS, came back and really enjoying Renegades. Campaign was fun and just getting into the post campaign stuff - feels good to me. So far, my favourite expansion since Forsaken.

1 답변I've had the opposite experience. I would get burned out if I didn't take breaks, & I've always found the fun again when I would come back.

1 답변I take weeks off here and there and have found it very much helps me enjoy the times that I play much more than if I stayed grinding without enjoying.
