They probably will. Player numbers are in the toilet and the amount of new content has been cut back so drastically that its blatantly obvious the game is just done. I expect a post like what New World got after Renegades releases maybe with the Shadow and Order update being the final update we ever receive. They are hoping Marathon will pop off but the reality is that Marathon seems just as barebones as the content we are receiving in D2. From that I expect Sony to fully absorb them and Bungie to completely shut down.

getting to 550 on 3 characters was the game. it had no benefit other then something to do . now l just play because I'm waiting for arc raiders servers to queue me in. destiny had its day in the sun and was great for a long time. nothing bungie can do ,to bring that level of newness back . long time players of the game understand this. bungie understands this. if you like destiny just run the free version . it will be around for a little while longer . but the reality is people want something new . mainly cause this game has ran its course. it wouldn't or shouldn't surprise anyone if bungie wanted to hang up the hat.

Apparently the road map leaked. And it's the most low effort map that an unpaid intern could come up with. It's just a bunch of vague titles and an estimate month when they're going to come out. That's it. And it lists updates stretching out to 2027, which is hilarious for Bungie to think the game will last another two years with the state that it's in.

It would be the kindest thing. Because right now this game is a tedious chore of old boring content, pointless power grinds and endless frustration with a developer too arrogant to get out of their own way. They had so much feedback on these changes before this DLC launched, feedback that told them no one wanted these changes, and they did it anyway. And people left in droves. There are so many better games out there. Games worth your time and effort. Games that are fun. Bungie had a real chance at making a classic. One for the ages. Instead we got years of Bungie taking a dump in their hands and clapping. People are tired of it. Edge of Fate was one time too far. Now everyone is gone.And they are pinning their hopes on a Star Wars crossover. Pathetic.
