It takes 5 minutes to complete the mechanics and then 30 seconds to melt the boss. Miss D-1 Strikes with a Boss fight that was action packed.
I would much rather enjoy an EPIC boss fight at the end of every strike/portal activity as opposed to lazy time gate sequences.

Last time a strike bosses fight felt like I was fighting a boss was the first time lightblade was a GM. Luminality was close. Personal distaste for tormentor bosses though.

Bungie only knows of a few ways to add "puzzles" to a fight: dunk a ball, stand on a plate, shoot a switch. The last time they tried anything else, we got Matterspark. The Monkey's Paw curls.

Honestly that's the main issue why you see less and less players doing dungeons and raids The epic raid showed us if you want to make a raid and dungeon mechanical heavy do so in "Hard Mode" but not in "Normal Mode", it should be easy so that casuals can actually understand and do it. The issue now is that they keep making major endgame content too over complex with mechanics that only a small amount of players can do it on "NORMAL" then introduce a harder difficulty that only a small percentage of them can do this is not healthy for the game and the reason why players who do raids and dungeons won't increase and will continue to decrease. We have a lot of Raids and Dungeons in the game even before EOF the amount of players that was doing them was extremely small even for normal difficulty. IMO heavily tone down "normal" raids and dungeons and change the reward structure Normal: Tier2-3 with small possiblity of Tier 4 Hard: Tier 4-5 guaranteed with Double drops from bosses and secret chest.

Yeah it's kind of bad when Tormentors - as bad as they may be - are the pinnacle or gameplay mechanic bosses. They're basically the only ones that require you to fully approach it as a shooter. Everything els is basically waiting for a shield to go down or activating something before shooting a static boss.

1 답변I think the only D1 Strike boss that had some mechanic was the Echo Chamber Harpy (don't remember the name). I think the Nexus Mind got one too with the Age of Triumph Update. There might have been more, but it's nowhere near the number of D2 Strike bosses.
