I think the addition of the Portal feature is quite helpful since it allows players to access modes without having to search for them manually. However, the feature still has some shortcomings, and I have an idea that could improve it. Each week, there could be a Featured section (similar to how it used to be), but specifically for the Portal. Every week, 2–3 maps for the Solo and Fireteam playlists, and 1–2 maps for the Pinnacle playlist, would become featured. These featured maps would offer significantly higher Power Level multipliers and extra loot compared to the regular versions. However, players wouldn’t be able to change their customization settings, and modifiers would be randomized. For example, if my Power Level is 240, completing the normal mode would reward me with gear around 241–245. But in the featured version, the rewards could range from 245–250. This would help players progress faster toward endgame content. Additionally, more seasonal activities should be added to the Fireteam playlist, and extra content should be included during special events. For Pinnacle activities, there could also be two featured options each week. Alongside Exotic missions and Dungeon Runs, new modes like Raid Rush could be introduced—a shorter version of a raid with only one boss encounter, similar to the Raid Pantheon. More Dungeon Runs should also be added instead of just three of them, with weekly rotations. For example, Monday could feature Kell Echo and Persys for Dungeon Runs, while Atraks and Rhulk could appear for Raid Rush, and so on. This system would give PvE players more challenges to look forward to every week.
