Being down and waiting to be revived or my team to complete a boss to finish the activity for no more than 2 minutes gets me removed to orbit.
Bungie you created this system with extreme conditions that includes limiting specific linear gameplay, tedious and mundane play style in all high end portal activities, yet made questionable decisions to have limited revives, extinction and similar harsh modifiers also made the activities match-made. My issue is the unfair idle timer when i’m down or a teammate is and waiting for a revive or due to modifiers and removing revives, is that no more than 2 minutes of being down i get kicked to orbit for inactivity. Worst part is that not long ago you removed the ability to join back anymore!
This issue has been ongoing from way back since GM’s were introduced, but it’s happening frequently in this expansion as revives are poorly imbalanced.
To bypass the idle penalty it was suggested to press 3 inputs and most of the time it doesn’t work. Even if it did so, that’s ridiculous it is supposedly the only option or a solution to avoid being removed and to press 3 inputs every few seconds worrying of being kicked and wasting almost 45 minutes in ultimate difficulty pinnacle activities, all these years we keep reading the same response asking to provide any footage and will delegate the feedback to the designated team yet nothing has been done for this matter.
Please reevaluate the idle detection system it is somewhat flawed, with what’s going with the game recently and players feedback about the portal and lack of interest with the portal system, this adds more frustration.
Side note: That’s not mentioning many abilities are not functioning properly such as combination blow, gunpowder gamble and ascension doesn’t proc several perks, liar’s handshake longtime bug not always working.
Most importantly many portal activities fails to complete at the end and spawn the chest, happens way too often in expeditions, which is extremely frustrating.
