Dear Bungie Team, I am writing to provide some feedback on Destiny 2 and its current systems, specifically focusing on free-to-play content, seasonal progression, and the Power Level grind. My suggestions are as follows: * High-Quality, Free-to-Play Activities with Great Rewards: I strongly believe that Destiny 2 needs more free, high-quality activities that offer valuable rewards. This would greatly benefit the player base who do not purchase every season or expansion, keeping the game engaging for everyone. * Seasonal Storylines - Immediate and Free Access: The seasonal storylines are a core part of the game's narrative. However, making them exclusive to a season pass is a barrier for many players. I propose that seasonal stories should be immediately available and free for all players, regardless of whether they have the season pass. This would ensure the entire community can follow the evolving lore and events of the game. * Rework the Power Level Grind: The current Power Level system feels disjointed. I suggest the following changes to make the seasonal grind more rewarding and less of a chore: * Reduce the seasonal Power Level cap to 450. With the recent change that reduced the points needed for a Level 5 gear piece to 1.2 million points, it no longer makes sense to grind past a certain point. It's now easy to reach this score in any matchmade activity. * Increase the minimum Power Level at the start of a new expansion from 200 to 300. This would make the initial climb at the start of a new expansion less repetitive and exhausting, allowing players to get to new, engaging content more quickly. These changes would significantly improve the player experience by making the game more accessible, rewarding, and less of a grind.
