I know that new things take some time to iron out and I gave the portal a chance but I really thing it has brought more bad than good. The game feels dead. Everything is an activity in a box now. It doesn’t feel like a WORLD we are in with our friends. Going to the map, clicking on a planet, and looking at all the activities made everything feel alive. If there was a way to take the portal engram and scoring system and add it to the director like we used to have I feel like that would be a step in the right direction. Bungies words are contracting nowadays. I don’t think there listening to players. It’s all about numbers, and player retention for them. Time gating exotics that are on key art for new updates. Every TWID since edge of fate seems to have some kind of massive backlash to it. I understand that after final shape they needed to try something new… but the game does not feel good right now for a majority of players and soon, all bungies worrying about player retention and numbers will go away because they pushed their own community out.
