Why does Bungie always think that infusing something needs to be so expensive that it literally sucks the fun out of the game? Why not have a set cost on everything instead of this system that basically says if you like an older weapon or armor piece we’re gonna punish you for it by making it cost almost 4000 unstable cores?
Why not have it cost a flat 200 cores to infuse anything instead? This direction of you’ll play with the new stuff and like it isn’t gonna work especially since players always have that one weapon they like that there isn’t an alternative to. It’s childish to force players to use new weapons and armor by extorting them and even worse it causes a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation where you either keep farming to get armor and weapons you can tear down to get cores or you say to hell with it and go play something else that’s actually fun and doesn’t feel like a second full time job where the boss doesn’t want to pay you for your time and effort.

Infusion costs are simply ridiculous! But, BHQ knows that, which is why they set the bar at that level. On some toys, I bite the bullet and infuse away…because, for whatever reason, I simply want to use that particular toy. Every time I do this, it adds another brick of resentment to an already big wall…🤨 Moving on… Reclaim Missions: the Neomuna Overtuna levels of insta-kills from every angle are simply boring and somewhat tedious. Am still getting it done with my 2x rando teammates…get blatted…get up…get blatted…get up… It ain’t fun…and it’s effin’ boring. 👈 Note to Sony / BHQ - whoever is driving this nonsense, needs to be stopped…unless - that’s the intended plan?! 🧐 And if it is the plan - to alienate and demoralise your customer base…then, congrats! Because it is really doing a fine job. 🤡🤥🤡 Winter’s coming…again! ❄️❄️❄️ That is all. SMH 🙄

I was doing fine when I was just infusing one set of weapons and armor as I always seemed to have plenty from all the discards, but today I was playing with a few alternative builds and had to take a good few pieces of gear from my vault from 10 to around 335 and my war chest of cores is almost empty. 😥

1 답변Yes it makes no sense, especially if you want to play with several build at the same time the amount of material gets insane. It should cap at a max value, 500, 1000 at some point and be it.

4 답변I made this same post about 6 weeks ago .people tore me .. " stop crying" blah blah etc.. at the time it was 8000 cores to take something from your vault to 400. At 450 it's 13000 cores. But I did wind up maxing out at 999999, but it was rough when ranking up...

Just another cog in Bungie's sunsetting without calling it sunsetting strategy. As is them re-releasing weapons with a V1 suffix and current origin traits. These days there are simply less people around to care though. :)

👆🏼This EXACTLY.. Grab new exotic armor .. Because my master worked exotic armor is no good anymore.. 3 Ascendant , a cipher, a bunch of prisms and cores wasted… This is on “all” our exotic gear we master worked..Getting “new” armor to your power level .. The cost is ridiculous .. Had to run around with a 200 power Gifted Conviction because this economy sucks!!

It feels pretty rough while leveling, i hear its better once you get higher in light levels, but ATM it really puts a damper on trying out new builds due to the cost of infusing new gear. Also the amount of infusion material you get from the different reward passes are honestly insulting when compared to infusion cost. It feels like two different teams were working on this system without communicating with each other.

1 답변Because they want you to think long and hard about whether any item in your vault is really worth infusing and, by extension, keeping. Because if they can get you to delete it then 1) they can justify not giving significantly more vault space 2) they have a better chance of getting you to grind for that same weapon again
