Bungie needs to come out and tell us what their vision or point is in Guardian light level if we have to forever run content where we were -30 to -40+ under light in PVE and then PVP content where light level is completely disabled for everything.
It serves no purpose in the game if there's no point at which you're running content where your light level is a benefit.

Its only purpose is to serve as a content barrier and as a way to artificially slow down the gear farm. That's literally it. It's meant to keep you on a treadmill long enough to appease shareholders. Destiny has decided that grind = content. It's a distaster.

Then returned it by weaponizing it to exploit customers who only look at the big number getting bigger as "progression". It's not progression if you're weaker.
