Well obviously. I took half a week off work just to play Kirby Air Riders when it drops. If you take time off for a video game, Ithink that makes you a nerd by default.
Unless it’s, like, Madden or something. Then it makes you annoying.
I wish Nintendo games weren't exclusive to their own console.

I need to work on that Soma controlled spoiler review, I feel like you'd be able to appreciate it and understand it more than most
It's very rare for me to take time off of work for anything, so Kirby Air Riders is definitely out of the norm. I cannot even begin to emphasize how actually perfect the game looks, though. Before the game released, I put together a list of things I wanted in the game, and I intentionally overshot. Like, I was purposefully suggesting stuff I didn't actually ever expect to make it in... And then the trailer drops and it not only has everything I wanted except one thing, but it even added in stuff on top of that, that I didn't even know I wanted! And the one thing we're missing (multiple City Trial maps) was kinda just taken in a different direction, and a direction I think I love even more than having multiple maps. There's one big thing missing, but it seems to be a "we haven't shown this" situation so far rather than a "this isn't here" one. I'm so hyped for the game I've even been watching competitive Kirby Air Ride matches on YouTube, which is absolutely baffling for me, honestly. I never watch people play games outside of speedruns. But KAR! KAAAAAR!
Yeah, it kinda sucks. But honestly, it does open up some really neat avenues of play that they couldn't pursue on Xbox or Playstation. They implement unique hardware that leads to unique games that you literally cannot have on other consoles. Like Drag x Drive, for instance.
