I'm done with destiny, D1 beta vet
I've played since the d1 beta. I've carefully earned every seal, only to watch the game become increasingly stupid and cringe.
A once amazing storyline turned into garbage about a gay old man and his robot boyfriend. A trans character in nightfall. I'm done.
I ignored those things but the injection of modern identity politics into what is supposed to be a game that lets one take a break from the BS of the world, is what is killing these franchises.
I finally quit when the emblem bug for heart of light was stopping me from earning that seal. Because I was putting time into this to no avail, i didn't put work into heretic. I can no longer earn the heretic seal and my perfect streak is broken.
I haven't bought the expansion, but from what I've seen and the stupid matter ball i have no drive whatsoever to play this game anymore.
Congrats wokeness you killed another great franchise and another great company. No one likes you anymore.

So you only want straight white male storylines? What kind of mentality is this? I dislike the relationship stuff too, but I don't fixate on Saint / Osiris. I equally cringe at Drifter / Eris. This sounds like you have some kind of hangup with LGBT people more than anything. This DLC has no LGBT characters that I'm aware of anyway, so why are you complaining about this now?

Outside of the “D1 vet part” (which means nothing) I agree so much with this post! People will say the saying “go woke go broke” is bs, but people all around the entertainment industry are talking with their wallets… Like someone else once sad “words talk, numbers scream!” And it’s weird when the Destiny universe that is so diverse in alien races and all it’s sci fi stories, that they need to put the modern day mostly nonsense in it to ruin the already just above average storytelling…

2 답변ignoring the part where this guy has no life to speak of.... being a D1 beta veterinarian has no impact on any of that, becuz im not a beta veterinarian and even I can see that the game has gone to hell. I'm still trying to understand how can a person fall in love with a robot that isn't even hot, ik what the internet is capable of but u gotta make an exception to any robot that ISN'T hot......like c'mon, a robot that reminds me of a 75 year old man? seriously?
