For instructions, please see Valve’s Clear Download Cache knowledge base article. - Windows Defender: Destiny 2 players on PC may encounter an issue where Windows Defender incorrectly detects specific Destiny 2 files as infected with malware when performing a scan. Players who encounter this issue should update their virus definitions. For more information, please see our Windows Defender knowledge base article. - CVARS Troubleshooting: When encountering configuration issues in Destiny 2, it is recommended that players delete their existing CVARS.xml file. This file can be found in: \Users\USER_NAME\Appdata\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\ PLEASE NOTE: When relaunched, Destiny 2 will generate a fresh CVARS.xml file.   • I have this same issue and for me it seems pretty clear what the problem is: Destiny 2 is using the desktop resolution for the mouse bounds when the in-game resolution is higher than desktop resolution. I run my desktop in 1920 x 1080 (100% DPI), but I run Destiny in 2560 x 1440. When running Destiny 2 in 2560 x 1440, the region that the mouse cursor is stuck in (from the top left corner) is definitely 1920 x 1080 out of the total 2560 x 1440. When I switch my desktop resolution to 2560 x 1440, the problem goes away. Deleting the cvars.xml probably "fixes" it for people because the default setting is for your in-game resolution to match your desktop resolution. As soon as in-game is higher resolution than desktop the problem remains. Please fix this issue Bungie, everything worked fine for me before the Edge of Fate update.

  • Deleting CVARS worked for me Before that I updated windows defender, cleared Steam cache, windows system was up to date and then I updated NVIDIA driver. Last thing I did was CVARS deleting, now working 100%.

  • Its a Resolution Problem. 1920 x 1080 works fine 3840x 2160 is bugged and you get a 4x4 box left uper corner who the mouse is stuck. No problems befor the addon.
