With fewer pre-orders for the new expansion and community sentiment being generally down, here are some easy wins for Bungie that everyone in the community should theoretically love:
More Supers and Melees
There are very few options for the Darkness subclasses in regards to Supers and Melee abilities. Not to mention the Light subclasses having very few to no alternative Melees, such as Void. Aspects and Fragments are nice, but they aren't as helpful as having different options for those abilities. Also I can't imagine that any player would say no to this, as long as they are properly balanced.
Weapon Modification and Cosmetics
Many weapons have the same base model, with dozens of different sights. Swapping scopes or sights on them would be an amazing quality of life, or even being able to alter the element using in-game currencies. Being able to use similar ornaments should also be a big hit as long as they are close enough to that model, but more weapon ornaments would be awesome, like we used to receive.
New Light Onboarding
Retaining new players should be Bungie's number one priority, and yet the mini-campaign is so underwhelming while the rest of the experience is confusing. The Portal seems a step in the right direction but just looking at the previews for it, this is likely just as confusing for a new player. They need a proper progression system and a recommended path laid out for them to further engage with, so that they don't hit some random difficulty wall and completely drop the game.
It may be that the dev team or others have already suggested these things and more to upper management, but were ultimately shot down. If that's the case, hopefully these suggestions can help add credibility to what the playerbase wants.
What are other things that would be an "instant win" for Bungie, where all players should be excited about?

1 답변They don't care atall about new or old players otherwise dumb stuff like the in game pop up saying you've unlocked a subclass for over a year would be fixed by now Bungie just thinks let's just milk the dumb players that are still throwing money at a broken game that's ran by a company that takes years to fix anything impacting the player experience but if a loot glitch is handing out more rewards than usual it gets fixed straight away .

1 답변작성자: ZyloWolfBane 7/9/2025 7:28:29 AMClearly they aren't interested in that, these are brought up every time the game slows down or a new expansion comes out, and they're ignoring it. So unless they're planning an expansion level update as a season, I doubt they'll be recovering lost ground any time soon, if ever. Some of the QoL changes are definitely needed that we've seen, but I mean....those should've been added at any point over the past decade, even just the prime engram focusing and making them unlimited rather than weekly. There were so many low points where adding that in would've revitalized people's interest but it's gone on for so long most don't care anymore. Or at least *I* don't. Don't forget, they wouldn't want to overdeliver

2 답변Guess what if you’re mad don’t play. People are still pre ordering. And all 3 of your topics bungie has done/is going to do. Next time check your sources and information before you make false posts. Here is bungie’s terms on giving feedback: “Feedback is Welcome When Given Appropriately We want to hear your feedback, but there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to share it. - Feedback shouldn’t be targeted at an individual or team, but at Bungie, the company. - Feedback should be respectful and constructive. - Feedback that is disrespectful or includes hate speech, personal attacks, harassment, stalking, violations of privacy, or threats may have in-game and real-life consequences, such as contacting law enforcement.”

4 답변They’re not showing any interest in winning back players that don’t enjoy the game anymore. They’re starting a new saga and looking to attract new players. They made massive changes to help make it easier for new players coming in and are now offering more FTP content than they have in the past. People who aren’t happy can play FTP or move onto other games.

2 답변1. Unlimited Vault Space or as much as possible. I am not saying I need it, but know it’s a topic that comes up a lot, at least on these forums 2. Since the Legacy FTF is going away, then add more ways to customize in game FTF. 3. Seasonal Storyline Playlist and Game Modes, should unlock account wide, not character wide. Such as, you get to a seasonal story game mode, say that unlocks at step 18, on your Warlock. Then you login later with your Titan, but they are only on step, 3, let you jump a head to the furthest step. If you want to keep new exotics locked behind completing the story on legendary, then each character couldn’t go past the last step. Just make everything else free to unlock for each character, should the player choose. 4. Besides Prismatic, just unlock all subclasses, aspects and fragments for all characters- assuming the player owns the expansions they are linked to. 5. More customization features for your character. More species to play as. More detailed design options for face at least if not also body. Let us change between different species as well. 6. All Light and Dark Subclasses for each class should have at least one way to have 5 fragment spots. That way it would help balance out build-crafting. 7. On the lowest difficulty game modes, especially when using MM, make revive timers faster. (Shorter amounts of time before you either revive fully or before you can get revived.) 8. Let us put waypoints anywhere on the map.

1 답변Focus on what the majority want… good activities … powerful weapons and lots of loot, this game feels like a chore when we have to grind and grind.. remove that and bring back the fun

1 답변작성자: Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds 7/7/2025 8:52:10 PMI think that’s over. At least for awhile anyway. It feels like they kind of just gave up and are doubling down on the addictive methods to retain people instead of new fun methods. Only way I’m ever coming back is if they lean back into facilitating build crafting the way they did from WQ-TFS. That was my reason to play. You didn’t need to throttle my loot or my level. A steady stream of new things for subs, new subclasses, and new weapons that had the kind of bad luck protection(crafting) that allowed on demand weapon experimentation made the game the most fun it had ever been for me. A number go up cycle and soft resets are uninteresting and not compelling. So are temporary destination gimmicks instead of new things for subs.

4 답변Maybe they should stop putting all the coolest armor and cosmetics behind eververse and allow us to earn them in game. Yes I know bright dust exists, but would be better if I could go around areas that don’t get much love to earn armor
