작성자: jhermannITJ 4/16/2025 8:10:00 PMHere's how everyone smart knows you're a fraud, "I been here only 2 days if that since I started". Immediately followed by, "Looking at the player count numbers compared to the past, I am not sure I even want to invest my time into this game anymore". You didn't invest any time & what PAST? You've been here for 2 days. 😇👍💠 As for pay for play clans, Bungie just updated the CoC for it. And btw, did you take a recommendation from someone, "a friend", who doesn't play the game? Or if they play enough to recommend D2, you already have a lead-in, don't you? Or is that they don't play, still recommended it... you researched the player population over time, saw that it has been declining... certainly you must have seen the negativity respective D2 coverage and community sentiment. Yet, you still played for 2 WHOLE days? And your "friend" never told you, I guess, that investment in D2 requires about 50-100hrs to really build your base as a player. And AFTER that... You decided to find the Bungie.net forums to give 'constructive' feedback about systems within the community you're completely ignorant on. Tons of helpful community members, even some here that were willing to help you. Which seems like where a 'new' player's mind would go first... to be clear. They wouldn't be researching and complaining about player populations. A new player would be asking, things like... "How do I find a good clan"? "How do I find helpful people to play with"? THIS is how many people know, this post & you're a fraud. 😇👍💠 Aka, "Smurf".

1 답변
So my friend suggest playing Destiny 2 because of how many players yet going through the process of finding friendships along the way in this community has been horrible and I been here only 2 days if that since I started? Looking at the player count numbers compared to the past I am not sure I even want to invest my time into this game anymore. I mean even going to Clan Recruitment there only only maybe 10 constant clans that post, even then it seems this community is more of a "I will help you only if I get something in return" which to me says a lot about those people. I enjoyed shadowkeep but I think i might uninstall the game. I hope Bungie can some sort out the bad apples from the good within the community to make this game potienantly worth playing.. Anyway take care Bungie
I play videogames for fun. I guess if player counts has any meaning to you then.... yeah... uninstall I guess.

I’m going to honest but crying isn’t going to help you. If you want to make friends in this game unfortunately you will run into bad characters. Destiny is filled with salty people even if they don’t mean it. If You want someone to run with show you around I can help. The clan I’m with has a discord we all chill and we’re not toxic, just let me know ?

4 답변This is what got me into Dauntless and Warframe. I ended up grinding both by myself in the end. Save friend time for party games, in my opinion. People will always look to get something out of another, doesn’t have to be loot. The friendlier crowd is shrinking with every update

Can I ask, if your friend got you into trying the game why aren’t you able to play with them or join the clan they’re in ? If you’re enjoying the game then it might be worth persisting with it. If you’re not, then I suggest dropping it. The issues you’ve encountered aren’t isolated to you. None of my real world gamer friends play Destiny. A couple did briefly, but bailed soon after. -
2 답변Well, these comments I'm sure proved you right in your mind. I understand. I would've taken it that way too. This community is pretty awful. Remember though; the internet forums are basically THE spot where the worst people just hang out. Its not to say everyone here is an awful human, but they are pretty common, so that does say something about this base. You're also missing most of the story, just getting in now, and seeing the cumulative mess of over a decade of the developer kind of giving the base the middle finger. Most of the decent people left, because of both the community and dev failures. Its whittled away so much more in the past year it seems.

The community has its ups and downs. We are certainly in a down right now with toxicity and the uncertainties about the future of bungie itself, whether it fails or not my hopes is that it thrive. My experience with the community being a mom that is goth with two kids. I always get weirdos or simps. I understood that my name is going to bring that attention but it wasn't the idea. Other than that it is just a strange place unless you know your way around
