I’m sorry for all the people yelling “skill issue” and then explaining why its actually not a skill issue lol. But in all seriousness yesterday’s Rushdown bosses weren’t great. I really appreciate using old bosses, but those bosses are often mechanic heavy.
Quria, for instance, is really daunting if you never played Season of the Splicer and fought them before. Same thing for the Ahamkara Illusion for those who haven’t played Witch Queen.
I don’t feel this game mode is excluding new players as it helps them see previews of DLC’s they may have missed. My largest issue is the unwillingness of experienced players to understand that some of this is new to some people.

then play the mode a few times that day and learn the mechanics for each boss. they're not always intuitive sure, but most of the time you get a hud indicator showing you what to do. i mean there's encounters with sword relics that drop but you really need to stand next to a crystal to destroy it. just look at your hud when it's not overwhelming... or you know play it more than just once before trashing the mode on the forums as complicated and boring when in reality it is a skill and comprehension issue. but this is the d2 community. people that dont even know how to read their hud mid-encounter where it tells you the objective verbosely on your hud. don't expect high intellect on most guardians.

Another problem is Bungie just bloating the difficulty throughout the game due to some of those same players begging for the game to be harder. Bunch of hypocrites there as those same people want more difficulty, but then refuse to do Master difficulty raids/dungeons. As a result, Bungie keeps inflating enemy stats, nerfing player's gear like exotics, and then introducing Power Disabled/Minus Power for no good reason. We never wanted that last part in Lightfall when they made Neomuna all -15 power, yet they did it anyways and threw it onto everything come Final Shape. I've been playing the Destiny series since Taken King and that was just one of their dumbest changes.

As a new-er player who discovered Destiny at the very end of Witch Queen, I appreciate your comment that "older" players need to remember that "new" players may not have seen many or even any of the bosses in Rushdown. I've seen lots and lots of Ranks 1's, 2's, and 3's running around lately. I like the fact that some of the no-longer-available boss battles are in Rushdown. I may not know the mechanics necessary to complete an encounter, but I am quite willing to clear while I watch the other players so I can learn the necessary mechanic. Hopefully, at some point, I can pay-it-forward and do the mechanic while someone else is learning.
