New dungeon is stupid.... there i said it... You made it so average players cant complete it... what about making some stuff that is funny for all players... Nothing better then getting steam rolled on "Easy" mode. I can't wait to do it on legendary 🤢🤮🤮🤮... that's a BIG thumb down from here... Am I the only one remembering when Destiny use to be fun, and not some sort of puzzle full meta build garbage....

5 답변Mechanics 1st encounter: Pretty easy tbh. Bouncing “light” to the correct symbols on the wall? Not that complicated. 2nd encounter: Complete BS. In what universe is someone supposed to figure out that the damage phase length changes based on how far to the left the “kill” symbol is?!?! 3rd encounter: 75% good. 25% bad. Only complaint being that we do the opposite of what the truth sayer tells us to do? Why do we put in the false story as key to the lock? Combat 1st encounter: Husks are annoying but not that hard. I can see how the subjugators would be rough on a solo clear though. Sometimes you get some BS. 2nd encounter: Pretty intense actually. Boss hurts, constant enemy spawns. Pretty tough. 3rd encounter: Chaotic with every enemy kinda going wherever it wants. But it’s not too bad to find cover. Damaging the boss is tricky when he gets up in your grill though. TLDR: Bungie has always had overly complex mechanics. The second encounter is pretty awful. Final encounter can be a little tricky. 1st encounter is pretty darn simple though.

3 답변Bungie chose not to include matchmaking in Destiny raids primarily because they wanted to prioritize a high level of coordination and communication . unfortunately in the end that game model don't work in 2025 like it once did . But here they go again adding more raid mechanics to activitys that drove players away in the first place. I ran the new dungeon it wasn't a dungeon it was a 3 man raid.can't teach old dogs new tricks . l like destiny but after 10k hours you see what you liked about the game isn't what bungie likes.its time now for less mechanics, more players and more player retentionI. if destiny wants to survive the competition .

2 답변작성자: Notturno Shade 2/13/2025 7:11:09 AMYou're having a hard time reflecting with mirrors. Reflecting with mirrors! These are hands down some of the easiest, EASIEST puzzles we've ever had in the game! And yet... Here you are. I don't care whoever comes at me, down votes cause I say skill issue. You're having a skill issue moment, and you're letting us all know it. Compared to GotD, Vespers, and some raid mechanics, this stuffs EZ. But go ahead. Go cry now. That swamp section in the dungeon needs to stay moist!

One simple thing will fix it reverse -5 lvl. Let us over level again. This will fix the boss health issue and you can play with under average players again.. My opinion is only master content GM and contest will be under level.

2 답변I have not tried it yet tbh but I am wary. I like a challenge, but admit that I struggle early on grasping some of the more complicated puzzle aspects. Watching a video helps but the only thing that helps is running it and making mistakes. I think part of the issue with the more challenging content is finding the right players who are chill, helpful and remember that games are supposed to be fun. I know such exist (I try to be one myself) because I have had the privilege of meeting many and getting that assist. anyone can recommend a helpful, non-toxic and patient group to run it with, I would be grateful to hear about it.

There lies a large part of the problem. It used to be fun, just go in and shoot 💩. Now its keep up with the Jones’s and have this or that particular build. Watch this video and research that encounter. KWTD to insane requirements or be ridiculed and kicked. Add in the seasons and fomo and you’ve rounded out the recipe for disaster.

I’m not hardcore but completed it. It’s not that difficult. I still don’t understand the boss room but I’ll eventually get a group with mics to teach me, completed it with no mics thanks to a guy who knew what he was doing. Played his defender keeping him alive n had a warlock who’s only role was wells to dps the boss. It was awesome. We 3 phased the boss. No mics n got it done n it was fun to me.

Not gonna lie i do miss those days… those days where I genuinely found things funny and fun to do but now it’s just like who can get there first oh this guys in our team is having trouble getting used to this mechanic oh let’s just remove them and glory hunt our way to find someone who can do it I swear this game is looking like cringe with this pathetic contest competitive Side to it destiny 2 AINT a pvp game it’s a pve game crucible and gambit should be 2 separate stand alone games.

3 답변Issue is they designed it to be a 3 man raid. All dungeons were doable without mic and not a great amount of info. This breaches the line of raid and dungeon so they will turn away anti raiders and now anti dungeoners. Its too much for the activity its supposed to be. Yes one man can do all of it but thats longer time and not the idea. Dungeon should involve all players.

3 답변Pre- the Sunset debacle, raiding with one’s regular bunch was a given. Post- the Sunset debacle…where one’s Friends List virtually disappeared overnight, completely altered the vibe…add in the Neomuna effect…and all the BHQ shenanigans… And the BDF and the ‘Git Gud’ Brigade, wonder why Casuals’ don’t do raids / dungeons / etc?! Because it ain’t FUN! 👈 Just look where we are?! 🧐 That is all. Ease Springs…or don’t - idgaf. 😉 MDGA

4 답변작성자: Dooodley 2/10/2025 10:01:43 AMI think it's one of the main reasons this game isnt attracting or retaining more players. Think about it, the majority of the potential playerbase probably come from traditional shooters or traditional MMO's. The FPS people don't want to take a break in the middle of a gunfight to do a puzzle and the people from MMO's are more used to attack mechanics - where you're still somewhat engaged with the boss and not taking a break to solve a rubiks cube. Also, it's the same cube every time so it gets old. With attack mechanics there's at least some room for variation.

4 답변I think "garbage" is a bit unfair as it's clear that a lot of effort has been put into it. It is not a dungeon, it is a 3 player raid, and that seems to be Bungie's direction of travel. and that is certainly garbage.

I'm mostly a solo player. Last time I spent time on learning a dungeon was Spire of the watcher, before that I liked Pit of Heresy. Spire already had way too prolonged boss fights and I had Duality key too so I went in and it even visually looked so depressing I had no motivation to play it. After checking the "instructions" for every dungeon since I have 0 interest in bying an expensive dungeon key for them. Just waste of time and energy.

It's mediocre at best I don't love the mechanics. By no means are they difficult to understand, they are just tedious to interact with. Dunk this to spin a wheel while being shot at, not the greatest mechanic. I'll most likely play til I get the exotic then never touch the dungeon again.

작성자: Jammers 2/11/2025 5:09:33 AMThis dungeon wouldn't be to bad if bungie would layoff the ad density and constant respawning of ads. it completely ruins the fun. my last run l just tried to keep ads down in the boss fight something like 400 kills just in boss room then wipe when boss was only half health. that goes to show you just how bad bungie has got. it's taxing and it will make you never want to run it again. . hello bungie ? that's not how you keep players and get paid. hope you like the unemployment line.

6 답변작성자: Choss 2/10/2025 9:29:01 PMThe fact that the lenses despawn when you get the incorrect order is so annoying. I feel like once you plant a lense you should just be able to rotate them till you get it right. Makes learning the encounter tedious and time consuming.
